Gotta go with the Wrecker. Fights in 5 consecutive games says something to me.

Gotta go with Crombeen. Active and gets fairly regular playing time which is more than you can say about the others(except Schenn). Did'nt see enough of Stewart to make an honest comment so I defer to others on him.

As a Blue Jackets fan I agree about Dorsett. Very scrappy player, always willing to mix it up and is a decent player. I woulda liked to see him on the ballot too. Since he wasn't I voted for Rechlicz.

Too bad Mitch and Steve didnt play too much during the season as these two have a very big chance to be a solid Top 10 fighters in the NHL. I agree in that point that these years rookies were not that great than the rookies from 05-06 (McGrattan, Parros, Orr, Boogaard, Janssen, Gratton etc), but if half of these guys will play a regular shift in the NHL some day i would be happy. Bissonette, Westgarth, Fritz and MacIntyre are very good fighters and i really hope they will play more next year.

Anyways, Fritz is my pick. One of the few guys who could hold his own with Laraque.

Crombeen. He can fight and score some, the type of player the NHL is looking for now... And a nice KO on Dorsett.

Has to be fritz

It's obviously Fritz- 3 reasons:
1. He's 6' 8' (Same height as monster Boogard) -
2. He beat the NHL's undisputed heavyweight (and a guy I don't think I"ve ever seen whopped) BGL
3. Awesome 'stache
You heard it here first: He's going to kill somebody on the ice before his career is over.

I really think that Joel Rechlicz will be a force to be reckoned with in the future. After a great career in the Q, and a strong minor league campaign, I think that it's only a matter of time in the league before he's top 10 material.

After Wrecker lit a fire under our asses even though it was a lost cause, i dont see how he couldnt win this. When a fighter doesnt just fight and actually gets a team motivated like that, you have something special
