Riley Cote for sure because yeah he was fighting alot, but he wasn't producing in the point category very much. And it really hurt the Flyers playoff run.

I didn't expect much out of Andre Roy this season after the previous year he had. So i gave my vote to Riley Cote, he accumulated way too many losses.

Has to be Roy, hard for me to vote for a guy with 22 fights.

Cote's season ended several games prior to the playoffs. And the guy has one career goal, I don't think much was expected of him points wise.

Who the hell is voting for Andre Roy?
Aw, I wanted Riley Cote to win, just to see the reaction of the Flyers' fans.

Whitout dissecting the voting list. I'm quite sure of that alot of the Flyers fans laid their vote on Cote.

And Andre Roy won none of his whopping nine fights. He was expected to do a lot more out in the West this season. Disappointing to say the least.

On the other hand, Riley Cote fought a ton, and fought them all. I don't understand why he's getting so many votes for this particular "award."

A couple of solid wins raised the expectations.

Roy was litterally worthless. Even Phil Oreskovic had his way with poor Andre.

That was my point, pbag.

How many guys would get obliterated like Cote did against Brashear and then got at it again with the same guy, in the same game, like Cote did? That's some old-school chit right there. You just don't see that anymore.

But i doubt there was anyone having any particular expectations regarding Roy's season.
Thats the big difference imo.
If the expectations on Cote was realistic, is another story.

A lot of people expected Roy to do some damage in the West. Unfortunately, it never happened.

Biggest letdown by far.
