I went with Cote.

Roy i really didn't expect much to begin with, but i didn't expect Cote to regress.

also Roy is Calgary not Tampa.. Im sure you know that, but you put tampa instead of calgary

I think you are right. Maybe he will win comeback fighter next year and we could trash him again the year after but he should be safe for now.

Roy is a mental case with an inconsistent past. I expected, or at the very least hoped for Cote to improve some so he "wins" the award for me.

At least, he'll have another year in the NW, and hopefully the Wild, Flames and Avs all reload to match the Nucks overall toughness. Then, we'll see more of the Hordi we wanted.

But still no where near as horrible as Andre Roy.

I had high expectations for Cote in the beginning of the year, but he was just plain awful this season. He got burried by Brash and then decided to fight in close and lessen his offense, leaving his God-awful defense to expose him. Last season I couldn't wait to watch and re-watch Cote fights, but this year, there wasn't anything more frustrating to watch.

Steve Downie was like invincible this year. I know you don't expect him to beat up many people, but you expected to hear him do something dumb alot more often.

I'm not quite sure why Steve Downie is one of the candidates for this award. In order to be considered a letdown, don't you have to show some potential to begin with? If this were the 2008-09 Billy Tibbetts Award, then Downie would get my vote.

Write in vote: Andrew Peters. He was like tits on a bull this season. Useless.

I don't understand how Cote is up for the Kimble award but also up for biggest let down.

Boggles my mind!

Cote may of lost a lot of fights this season but he was fighting top guys most of the time and only had a couple of bad loses. He also again put up one of the highest fighting majors in the league.. I can't see why it was a bad season for him..

Peters, Fedoruk, Roy all had worse..

I don't understand how Voros was a let down. We all knew he couldn't fight and he managed to stay active.

competely regressed from last year. for some reason he thought grappling while getting your head pounded by fist would win him fights. completely disappointing.

orr is a free agent right?

From this list absolutely Cote, but i miss guys like Koci or Peters. Peters started really good but after the Fritz fight he was horrible. Especially against Godard and Laraque he was embarassed. My pick would be Koci from these three as he didnt win many fights and got whooped by the two rookies.

Cote is way smaller than these two so no wonder he was beaten in a regular basis. He should beat guys like Rechlicz though....

It's a close one between Roy and Cote, but I've gotta give it to Cote.

Cote while we all knew would never be the champ (or even close to it) showed last season that he could win a few. This year his style, still fun to watch delivered him many more losses than he deserves.

Roy disappointed, but I was more disappointed with Cote.

Roy, I thought he would handle the NW with his experience but Hordi hurt him and that was that.

Am I the only one who thinks Parros womped this season? After the 3 year HF love affair with the guy he was shiiite. I like the 'Stache and all but he was an absolute let down. Every fight he had was like watching a drunk amputte riding a unicycle after being concussed, after having one of their ears caught off, all the while upside down on a staircase.
