Reviews and votes
Neil-DOwney
They cared enough to work it through, even through the lineman trying to separate them for 30 seconds. Solid punches landed by both guys. Very much appreciated the breakaway AND continued fighting after that. Vandermeer-GRatton Good damage by both. Gratton eats some punches and goes nowhere. He also lands a great one on Vandermeer that doesn't slow him down Thorton Bell Really good action big bombs coming very quickly by both guys tooToo - myers Action action- points for staying on their skates and trying to blind their opponent Boogard vs Godard Godard gets him!!! Godard gets him!! Huge upset! SImon-Fedoruk Bang Bang bang by both guys. Kudos to the anouncers for reminding us that Fedoruk was coming back from a crushed orbital bone Gratton vs Koci II Koci shows fire and smarts, and Gratton fights through the sweater pullover to land some good shots This is for fight of the year, and Godard beating Boogard the way he did compels me to vote for that as fight of the year! |

bell vs. thornton
i realize that bell and thornton aren't looked at as top heavies, but IMO that was the best fight. both fighters feed each other with a flurry of hands throughout, toss each other around, and there are few moments where either stops to catch their breath. if you hate hugfests, bell/thornton is your kind of fight. likewise if you like fast paced toe to toe battles. great fight.
