2006-07 Broad Street Bully Award: Best Enforcing Team
Here we looked for tough teams that carried one or more heavyweights to supplement team toughness.
Nominees Anaheim Ducks 71 fights; multiple heavyweights and tough guys. Nashville Predators 40 fights; Darcy Hordichuk, Jordin Tootoo, Scott Nichol, Shea Weber and others. New York Rangers 35 fights; Colton Orr, Ryan Hollweg, Sean Avery and others. Ottawa Senators 26 fights; Brian McGrattan, Chris Neil and Ray "Razor" Emery. Phoenix Coyotes 47 fights; Josh Gratton and other tough customers. Washington Capitals 40 fights; Donald Brashear, John Erskine and middleweights galore. My Pick There are 5 of the 6 teams on this list for which the award is the nomination. You can figure out the rest. Past Winners 2003-04: Calgary Flames 2005-06: Ottawa Senators Last edited by Merlin401; 04-25-2007 at 10:44 AM. |

It's easily Anaheim. They are loaded and are probably the toughest team in the league.
They ARE the broad-street bullies this year. What an exciting team. Just like everyone else has said, this is a no-brainer. Haha, Anaheim is smoking everyone for the best enforcing team, and Detroit is smoking everyone for worst enforcing team. Show's the difference between those two.

This award should be called the Anaheim Ducks award

The roster the Yotes opened the season with was tougher than the Ducks', and would give the current team a run for their money, but unfortunately as the season progressed they suffered a few injuries, and ultimately shipped Laraque out of town. Even still I don't think I ever saw them get pushed around. That being said, I still gotta go with the Ducks here.

Shouldn't the Buffalo Sabres be included in this one?
