Honorable mention goes to BGL...Mr. Nice guy...who has no interest in defending his teammates, has ridiculous total of 8 majors, and is complaining about playing time, yet does nothing when he plays. I can't wait for the day when someone knocks this guy on his ass.[/quote]

Someone named Jody Shelley fed him last year...... amazingly enough he doesn't fight him anymore

The thing about Barret Jackman is that he is a very streaky fighter. One year he will have 10 fights and then the next year he will have one. I expect him to have double digit fm's next year if he stays healthy

I heard that he hung em' up...also...as far as activity goes I dont think that the fridge could be considered a let down. As far as performance goes? Then yes, he would be the biggest let down...but doesnt effort count somewhere?? Because to have your face literally break, and then get back in there in the same season and fight more...what I am saying is that he deserves a better fate than he got....

My write-in vote is Zack Stortini. My buddy who lives in Edmonton kept hyping this guy and I bought into it. Shows what my friend there knows...

I chose Laraque and hope that now he's in the 'Burgh, that he has a way more productive season in 07-08

Aymen! Why vote for someone who doesn't want it, or deserve it.

For me, Laraque, despite his success is always disappointing - just can't stand his style. Chara's zero fights was also shocking, as was Simon's relative inactivity. I'll go with Big Georges, who I may end up voting "Fighter of the Year" - strange how things work out like that.

Chara didn't even get ONE friggin fight. He gets the vote here.

As Merlin said - at least Fridge went down swinging. But is a close 2nd followed by Boulton and Jackman.

I disagree wiht that. Everybody he fights is credible. Plus he doesn't have to pick fights, he is the champ. It isn't like he has any takers. I don't think that is his fault.

I voted fridge too. But, I disagree with your point. Fridge sucked before Boogey got him. His instincts betrayed him from pre-season on. Just a plain awful year.

Went with Boulton because he did not get his face broken and come back in a few weeks still fighting.

Went with Simon because he let down all fans of hockeyfights with his disgusting display.
