I have to say the most surprising fight for sure was the Gratton Bell fight..and definetly one of the best....But I say it wins hands down for the most surprising good fight and outcome of the fight this season....

Fedoruk-Gratts gets my vote here. A lengthy fight with several bombs thrown in a close battle.

I agree that was a real nice bout. Godard Mcgrattan was my favorite this year though.

I went with Vandermeer-Downey - nothing like a good old-fashioned slugfest that ends when someone goes down hard...

I went with Vandermeer vs Downey as well. It was between Fedoruk vs McGrattan and that one, but in the end the dropping of Downey sealed it. Nothing like a definative ending to a fight.

McGrattan v.s. Fedoruk was the FOTY in my opinion.

Langdon Vs Shelly
My pick for fight of the year because I love Langdon and the way he fights. He'll probably never fight in the NHL again so I savoured it.

Fedoruk vs McGrattan

two heavyweights going toe to toe not worrying about defense.

Vandermeer vs Downey runner-up.
