Disappointing fights for Mathers, but I guess it's hard to do anything when both Penguins players hit the deck after he throws one punch.

MacIntyre, you have Fitzgerald right in your face, just drop the gloves already.

Well, he did pick Alex Grant and a middleweight in Zach Sill!

In other news, Bobby Farnham is a superstar.

I get that Fitzgerald certainly wasn't looking to fight MacIntyre, but if Mac has him tied up for that long, I don't see why he doesn't just drop the gloves and force it.

It's frustrating to see aint it?

Good career decision for Fitzy. Love the guy but he and Mac would not be pretty. Surprised Mac didn't want to force an issue with Mathers going with Grant earlier.

Can't really say much about Mathers' fights. Grant had him locked out the whole time. And who knows what happened with Sill. At least he has engaged a little. Maybe that will get him going the rest of the way. He has yet to fight a legit heavy in the AHL though.

nice to see big mac finally get played, but yeah, i agree just drop the guy . one of the biggest parts missing from his game is that chip. when he lost his lid last year, i thought that was the turn around he needed. so basically he let fitzgerald talk all the shyte he wanted , and didnt do his job. To be a presence you have to make your presence felt. and by felt , i mean make him feel your fist on his face.

Very frustrating..I lost interest in him when he didn't force the issue against the Sens one night.Neil was running around as usual, and Mac was out on the ice for a faceoff next to Carkner.Neil was on the ice,and I want to say Konopka too.Not sure of that. The puck was dropped, and nothing...He didn't even check anyone..A rush up one end and then back to the other end. Then line change. He never saw the ice again...If he couldn't find a fight with those three on the ice. When will he ever???

Not too much going on in all three fights just alot of wrestling but surprised Big Mac just didn't force the issue with Fitz, I mean he was in his face the whole time.

thats the problem , he doesnt check anyone , maybe says wanna go ??... guy says no , skates up the ice down the ice, change , never to be seen again.

solution. big mac should say "hey im gonna knock you out" then puck drops he bee lines for whom ever and proceeds to beat down so and so , gloves dropped or not. he shouldn't give people an option to go.

it seems the best way to nul-invoid steve macintyre is just to ignore him.
