Vladimir Mihalik Suspended One Game

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. … The American Hockey League today announced that Norfolk Admirals defenseman Vladimir Mihalik has been suspended for one (1) game as a result of his actions in a game vs. Wilkes-Barre/Scranton on Mar. 30.

Mihalik was suspended under the provisions of AHL Rule 28.1 (supplementary discipline).

Mihalik will miss Norfolk’s game tonight (Apr. 2) vs. Hershey.

Sterling's own fault. He turned his back when Mihalik was already going for the hit....never thought I'd see myself say those words in the same sentence together.
"The biggest message he gave me is you better make an impact in a game every night. If you haven't made an impact late in a game, if you haven't blocked a shot, made a big hit, had a goal, you'd better grab someone and fight someone to make sure everybody in that building knew you played that night."
