I believe Ashton was originally going after Jamie MacQueen, who had dropped him with a couple of hits earlier in the game. Gaunce stepped in instead. Cam's not much of a fighter, but he's a good team guy. Not an exciting fight, obviously, but one that to me illustrated why fighting will always have a place in this sport:
* Ashton had had enough and justifiably was looking to even the score with Lake Erie. * Gaunce stepped in for his somewhat smaller (weight-wise) teammate. * Both guys got it out of their systems, told each other "good job" and moved on. |
