St. John's recalls Ryan Schnell and Ray Kaunisto from Colorado
The St. John's IceCaps today announced they have recalled Ryan Schnell and Ray Kaunisto from the Colorado Eagles of the ECHL.
Schnell, 23, has played in 12 games with the Eagles so far this season. In that time, the Cary, IL native has recorded seven points (4G, 3A) and 105 penalty minutes, tying him for the ECHL lead. He has played in 23 total AHL games, all with the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins, notching three points (2G, 1A) and 83 penalty minutes. Kaunisto, 25, has played in 19 games with the Eagles this season for a total of ten points (4G, 6A) and 29 penalty minutes. He has played in 131 total AHL games, all with the Manchester Monarchs, recording 36 points (15G, 21A) and 115 penalty minutes.
