This season will mark Craig's fifth as the captain of an AHL team. He enters 2012-2013 tied for 13th on the Falcons' all-time goal-scoring list with 39 tallies. A 10th-year pro, Craig has skated in 578 professional contests, combining 132 goals and 140 assists for 272 points.

Sixth-year forwards Cody Bass and Andrew Joudrey have been selected as Springfield's alternate captains. Both players served in that same capacity for the Falcons in 2011-2012.
