Rockford recalls Adam Hobson from Gwinnett
Rockford, Ill.- Chicago Blackhawks General Manager of Minor League Affiliates Mark Bernard announced on Saturday that the Rockford IceHogs of the American Hockey League have recalled winger Adam Hobson from the Gwinnett Gladiators (ECHL).
Hobson, the Blackhawks seventh round pick (#203 overall) in the 2005 NHL Entry Draft, began the season with Rockford and skated in four games before getting loaned to the Fresno Falcons (ECHL). The winger skated in 26 games with Fresno before the team folded on Dec. 22 accumulating 4g-10a-14pts. The Mission, British Columbia native was then re-assigned to the Gladiators where he has 2g-3a-5pts in six contests. Last season Hobson split time with Rockford and the Pensacola Ice Pilots (ECHL) during his rookie campaign. In 25 games with the IceHogs, Hobson chipped in a goal and four assists.
