Quad City Signs Brad Brown to AHL Deal
The Quad City Flames announced today that defenseman Brad Brown has been signed to an American Hockey League contract. The veteran defenseman re-joins the team for his second stint with the Flames. He appeared five AHL games earlier this season with Quad City.
Brown played 16 games this season with the ECHL’s Fresno Falcons. As a Falcon, he recorded two points (both assists) and 32 penalty minutes. During his previous tenure as a Flame, Brown recorded one point (a goal) and seven penalty minutes. Brown is a veteran with over 600 games of professional hockey experience. He has appeared in 330 National Hockey League games with Montreal, Chicago, the New York Rangers, Minnesota and Buffalo. Last season, Brown played ten games in the AHL with Hartford and 26 games with the ECHL’s Florida Everblades.
