Bport game could get nasty. Cantin put a big hit on a Crunch player in the first leading to a scrum, Gallant ended up beating Cote in a mediocre fight. Now it's 4-0, Cantin was just mixing it up with someone but nothing came of it. Still alot of time to go.

Yep, Gallant and Neilson just went. Short draw.

I'm smelling another hat trick for Gallant. He's gone with Neilson, Cote, gotta think Labrie could possibly be next. Or Neilson again.

Fitzgerald is dressed for the Phantoms up in Providence this afternoon. I'm assuming he's skating at Forward with Holmstrom out. Which also should note, Holmstrom is indeed scratched though AHL live has him listed as dressed.

Phantoms Scratches are: Bourdon, Lauridsen, Testwuide, Holmstrom, and Ford

This is Gallant's 3rd multi-fight game of the year. Early candidate for fighter of the year.

McIver and Angelidis went.

Next shift, Gallant is out there hacking at everyone on the ice.

Robbins and Fitzgerald got matching roughings. Then Manning took a penalty negating any chance of them fighting as soon as they left the box which I think was a good bet to happen.

Gallant was on the ice for almost a whole minute at the end but no go. Still a pretty darn good game for him.

Rockford/Grand Rapids was pretty chippy today. 3 fights plus 6 misconducts handed out.

One of the Marlies players turned down an invitation today...
I'm not sure who it was, I believe it was #4? He made a pretty good hit and the Heat player was all over him behind the play trying to get him to go.

Kind of bummed out that it didn't happen because I was at the game... that and Toronto was down 1-0, think it only makes sense for them to go..
