Per Checkers' writer Paul Branecky:

Quote:
Following Saturday’s practice, Daniels said that Dan Ellis will be the starting goalie on Sunday. Forwards Nicolas Blanchard and Justin Soryal and defensemen Marc-Andre Gragnani and Rasmus Rissanen will all miss the game due to injury.

Stat of the day.

The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins are 11-3-2 when MacIntyre is in the lineup and 4-12-1 when he’s not.

Selleck went twice against Peoria, first against Anthony Peluso and again vs. David Shields, which was Shields' first pro fight.

Also, Bracken Kearns scrapped Steve Oleksy in Hershey

Kearns and Oleksy was a good one. Hershey's gone soft. They're a lifeless team, Clackson's scratched most nights and last night they scratched Berry too. They're lucky Worcester didn't/couldn't dress Gogol, Bonneau, Mashinter, and Acolatse as well last night. They would have been murdered.

Also the fans are starting to clamor up there as well with "Free Clackson." Funny thing was the popular sentiment that fans were happy for the lockout to be over so certain players would be leaving Hershey, most notably Holtby.

EDIT: Just saw today Berry was sent back to Reading as well. Seems that Oates, McPhee, and Leonsis are now totally dictating what is going on in Hershey. Soft.
