Macintyre should have given him another go. I seem to remember him wanting a rematch with Boogaard after Boogaard pulled out a clear win.

He prob would have but Rechlitz was given a 10 minute misconduct after coming out of the box because he dropped his stick and started to skate towards Mac but he was never going to get there with the officials in between. The game got tight in the 3rd period and neither guy saw the ice the whole period.

The difference is that MacIntyre showed he could hang with Boogaard by drawing or getting the edge in the 2nd fight. MacIntyre is a level above Rechlicz and pretty much everyone else. I believe this was the 3rd fight between these two and Big Mac has won all 3.

Big Mac punished him.

And Gracie continues to sound like a jackass with a microphone, mentioning bazookas, parachutes, seat belts, spitshines, Donkey Kong, AAA, tattoo jobs and all of his other idiotic comments he makes.

There video of the fight from the opposite side of the ice where you see him connecting more clearly and forcefully. It was impressive simply because of how easily he disposed of Rechlicz.

You're right, the original angle isn't too impressive but the replay from the opposite side is.

Edit: I just clicked on that video and saw they cut it short. I saw this fight on the news last night and they showed the reverse angle, also TIVOd the game and they showed both angles plus disGrace continued his ranting.

JR has actually given macintyre a few very good fights but not so much last night . Rechliecz and anyone interested In fighting that beast need be at there best. JR was WAY To careless in the square off. Everyone including macintyre knows your a lefty so quit messing with the fakes of what hand your going with. Mac intyre went through that ****ty grip And it was over before it started.

MacIntyre is a beast and it's a shame that the NHL and the AHL for that matter have gone soft. Would love to have seen him in the tougher era's

You can really tell MacIntyre boxes in the offseason. He fought very intelligently in this fight. Recker just kinda waded in like a barroom drunk with MacIntyre easily counterpunching as he let Joel come into range. Second video showed some pinpoint accuracy by the big man.
