Patrick Bordeleau

Plenty of people have complained about it here, but can I just say one more time how much I hate the AHL scheduling system? I understand the reasoning for it, but as a Lake Erie season ticket holder, I can't tell you what I would give to see teams like Binghamton, Adirondack, Bridgeport, etc. come through Cleveland once in awhile.

One big reason is that I really want to see Bordeleau take on some of the HW's in the East. I have a really hard time telling how he would do against the likes of McIntyre, Mirasty, etc. But I can tell you this: I haven't seen the guy lose this year, and he has beaten some very good fighters in the West. His size and reach alone make it so that very few guys are still willing to take him on. But would he be as good in the East? I have no idea.

(I will say, though, that no matter where he ranks, any AHL top 10 list right now has to include him. Has to.)

Has anyone seen enough of both conferences this year to say one way or the other how Bordeleau stacks up?

Do you know how Selleck held up against him the other night?? I saw they went twice but haven't seen anything on the fights. Just curious.

I think anyone who saw the fights would say Bordeleau won both by decision. But Selleck held his own, especially in the first scrap. Bordeleau ate a couple of shots in that one, something he hasn't done much of this year. Selleck is a tough kid.

then tell the owners of the teams on the east coast to spend some money to allow that to happen. until they are willing to spend it, it won't happen.

I would put him in the top 3 in the AHL.

Holy old thread. Bordeleau has gone toe-to-toe with Rechlicz.
