HERSHEY, Pa. - The HERSHEY BEARS announced today that 12 players have been released from the club's 2012 training camp. The announcement was made by BEARS President/GM Doug Yingst.
The 12 players, all of whom will report to the ECHL's Reading Royals, are defensemen Adam Comrie, Dustin Stevenson, Brad Walch and Scott Wietecha; forwards David Civitarese, Tyler Gron, David Marshall, Jesse Todd and David Vallorani; and goaltenders Brandon Anderson, Philipp Grubauer and Sergey Kostenko. |
Man... These poor bastards... How bad do you have to be to be cut fromt he ECHL???
Time to give up on the hockey dream already... Grab a hammer and a bucket of nails and get working... Be the stud of your floor hockey team maybe, but c'mon, the dream is soooo dead. |
they got cut from the ahl guy, sent to the echl.....
|
well, someone has to get cut from the EC, guy
|
these guys all have contracts already with reading, hence why they are going there. the 6 released were on tryouts and most tryouts don't make the team.

Not to mention, guys cut from the A are top dog in the E. They're not going to fall two rungs on the ladder if they were in the running for AHL spots unless there just aren't any offers out there. |
i like this move for reading. gets them some big tough dudes in stevenson and comrie and overall a group of decently rough and tumble dmen
