How tough do you guys think Olson from Cleveland is , havnt heard much about him since he left the WHL a couple of years ago. Has he been scrapping much? Would have to agree with the comment about seeing more AHL fights so you could actually get to see some of these guys fight

There are 1-2 videos postly nightly in the AHL forum. You can usually find them posted in the Possible Fights threads...

Unlike the nhl games all ahl games are broadcasted online. I live 5000 miles or so from the us but still have watched around 50 games and posted clips from them this season. The site doesn't provide the clips, it's us: the fans who does it. Keep on supporting the league and B2 and post clips!

The Manitoba Moose do not have any real heavywieght fighters, but they have some of the best middle weights in the league. Rick Rypien will fight just about anybody ( destroyed Tolefson) and Kevin Bieksa is tough as nails.

Interesting to see bootland in a few peoples top 10's he wasnt all that impressive in his NHL call up fight wise, alot of draws and slight wins, but nothing huge...has he really improved that much?

I don't think anyone at all factors in his NHL call up being that this is the AHL Top 10...

I don’t even know how some people here are voting for a top 10… someone posted that it had a lot to do with homer’s.. Just looking at the list that some people have posted I don’t know where they are coming from… I mean how can anyone say that Steve McLaren is on their top 10 list?? … How many fights did he have this season… Hell I am a real big fan of Steves’s but lets be real.. how may fights did he have this year??? I did not hear of any all year, I thought I missed something so I looked up Steve on Hockey database and seen that Steve played 1 game and he had 2 minutes… unless they changed the rules in the last few days I cant see how a player with 2 minutes in penalties can be on any top 10 list of Fighters for 05-06… I will have to say he did not lose any fights but that should not count…

My list..
1 Brandon Sugden
2 Martin Grenier
3 Mitch Fritz
4 Trevor Gillies
5 Shawn Thornton
6 Mike Sgroi
7 Cam Janssen
8 Josh Gratton
9 Sean McMorrow
10 Riley Cote
10b Dennis Bonvie
10c Francis Lessard
10d Garret Stroshein
10e Rockey Thompson
10f Peter Vandermeer

Now I am sure that some people will complain about 10B to 10f but lets be reasonable I have been following Dennis since his Cape-Breton days and we all know that Dennis is not as good of a fighter as he was but what would a top 10 list be without him on it.. Lessard and Rockey are just tough SOB’s and they need to be somewhere on a list.. Stroshein is a kid that will be on a list someday but this year he did not play enough in the AHL for me to put him on my list.. Then I have Peter Vandermeer he might not win all of his fights and he might do something that leave you shaking your head wondering if he’s all there.. But I had to put him on my list because of his entertainment value…

maybe i'm out of my league on this one, but it seems like alot of those guys jumped back and forth from the ahl and nhl, i think they should really be in the ahl all year especially for this category (IMO), i don't have a top ten rather than a couple of guys i did like, Brandon Prust had a good year (especially for a rookie), and my other 2 are Brandon Sugden, and Bill Kinkel
