Worth it.

I am actually a bit surprised at this, I figured the punishment would be worse.

Exactly what I thought. Pretty shocked Kenndal McArdle didn't get smacked a lot harder than he did.

1 game, for all that? Hell, i would take that every season. ****, I would rub vaseline all over the team benches so that guys could fly over them faster!!

Shocked McArdle got to run around like an animal and only get 1 game.

Surprised Flick and coach Dent didn't get more, esp after last year's incident. That said, I love these old school moments and I hope Rockford keeps it up.

The AHL seems to be much more lenient with their suspensions. I believe the standard is 6 for leaving the bench vs. 10 in the NHL.

Its the way it should be. Guys got it out of their system, put on a show for the fans, nobody got injured. No need for lengthy suspensions.

I wondered that.

Surprised McArdle didn't get more for skating around like a b!tch hitting all the smaller guys who were already tied up.

Can't wait for the rematch. All the suspensions are up by then. Round 2.

Very proud of the team, the only thing i would of liked to have seen is Beach at least try to go with grant and have the rest of the hogs there to help him out. But anyway pretty good.

Love those suspensions!! Well the fact that they are so short!!

I wonder how many fans that incidient will put in the seats for their next matchup or hell even the matchups for the rest of the year.

I appreciate the AHL more and more every day for their distinct different views with these matter compared to the NHL

Pretty clear that the AHL didn't think this brawl was the worst thing in history. Watch for the rematch to be VERY WELL attended. The fact that most these guys only got 1 game, which in most other leagues would have been at least 2-5 games no matter what

Wow, isn't the minimum suspension for leaving the bench in the NHL 10 games? This is certainly a relatively light punishment. The rematch will definitely have a great turnout. The AHL knows this.
