You forgot Matt Spiller, Pascal Morency and Michael Haley for B-Port.

Nice list but look how incredibly soft the NE div. is..
HARTFORD WOLFPACK Dane Byers Justin Soryal Brodie Dupont Hugh Jessiman RFA LOWELL DEVILS Pierre-Luc Leblond Mark Fraser Matt Corrente MANCHESTER MONARCHS Kevin Westgarth Drew Bagnall Brian Boyle PORTLAND PIRATES Mike Weber Patrick Kaleta PROVIDENCE BRUINS Byron Bitz Adam McQuaid Johnny Boychuk RFA Nate Thompson RFA SPRINGFIELD FALCONS Theo Peckham Garet Hunt Tim Sestito WORCESTER SHARKS Frazer McLaren Brad Staubitz RFA Of all those teams only Westgarth and LeBlond would be considered heavies at the ahl level and LeBlond hardly ever dresses. There are a couple young prospects and Springfield has potential with Peckham and Hunt if they stay but other than that these teams look incredibly soft.

Yeah I agree, there is a lot of time but looking at it now is pretty depressing for someone who watches any of these teams and is thinking of their prospects for seeing entertaining hockey games this season.

The one significant name I didn't see on the list was Paul Crosty for Manchester.

The Phantoms will also have Jan Platil who the Flyers signed a month or so ago.
Nate Guenin and Frederick Cabana will be back from last year and they are good for a few fights a year. In addition to them they have a couple of other new guys that we may see drop the gloves. Rob Bellamy and Jonathan Kalinski were both agitators in college and racked up decent PIM's at that level so we may see them drop the gloves this coming season also. |
