Well he has been doing it for the last 4-5 years consistently... Whether he should or not he is and that plus his size tells me he is not a MW. He may be a punching bag but he is not a MW.

I class fighters by their ability and not strictly their fight cards. His fight card is a mix of both middle and heavyweights, and he can't ever seem to beat the heavies.

You can call him a heavy if you want, it doesn't change the fact he is outclassed by nearly all of them.

Yeah that is why you label him a punching bag. Chris Dingman wasn't a MW.
To a point you can add ability but when you take on the biggest and best of the best you earn that HW status. How many average MW have taken on Mac, Colton Orr, Yabo and all the other HW he has on his card. In the last 4 years he has way more HW's on his card...and not just any....many are very good. He may not be an elite super HW but he is closer to a HW than an average MW.

ok if u know the team as well as u claim to when was the last time fitzy won a fight with adk? its nice having someone who will show up night in and night out who is willing to do something not many other guys on the team are willing to do as i drop the gloves and fight someone. and remember, this is a hockey fight site not a phantom forum.

The inital point was he won't say crap when they win a fight. but negative nancy's quick to type it up when a guy loses.

Never said Fitzy's the hw champ of the A or the greatest etc. A guy who went toe to toe and handled himself quite well against Orr is far from sucking. He's had a rough year this year, he'd tell you that himself, and anyone can see that. But I don't believe he's nearly as bad as people are making him out to be. That's not to say he hasn't had terrible showings this year either. I'd say his last win was Schnell who is no slouch either. Problem is that was back in November.

Funny thing is, Cote was the same way with fighting guys and we all loved him but this guy is no different and its "he sucks". Get's old after awhile.

We all know once Mather's shows up things will be a bit different. It's ashame the Flyers aren't going out and signing guys like Recker to contracts like they use to with Pete Vandermeer, Boulerice, etc. We can all agree that the organization has become softer. (look no further than Lavi.)

I can tell you 1 fight in December he won and there was more than 1 rave about how great he is and that he should be in the lineup all the time.

i will go on record saying i hated cote to. He ALWAYS was exciting to watch only cuz he always wanted to go toe to toe, but he lost like 80 percent of his fights. I think in my own opinion i was just spoiled with the dominance we had in brashear. We havent had anything close to him since he left

Agreed on that with the organization. They should have gone after Colton Orr a couple years back and should never have hired a coach who's philosophy is so counter cultural to what this organization is about.

They've also left the Phantoms out to dry since they've moved to Adirondack both in skill (aside from a few Dmen and toughness aside from Clackson who's an average HW in a MW body. (If you see him off ice you'd be amazed how this dude has gone up against some of the toughest in the AHL. That, and he looks like a teenager still too.)

never hated him as a person, was just spoiled with the dominance of past guys like brashear that won MOST of the fights. Cote prolly has the biggest balls of all the fighters ive seen throw down. he was a gamer no doubt. I just want a top HW i suppose. That is wishful thinking this day and age.

You can call him a heavy if you want, it doesn't change the fact he is outclassed by nearly all of them.
Then shouldn't he be a light heavy??

These terms are so dumb, just call them all fighters.
