That game coulda gotten way better if the refs didnt take it over with minors...I enjoy watching this phantoms team

Read that Rinaldo wussed out again tonight westgenny. Truth?

Cullen Eddy may not be a great fighter but he's one of the few guys that as a Phantoms fan I can say shows up game in and game out doing whatever it takes to help the team. Labrie is a bigger more experienced fighter and down 2-0 Eddy takes him on off a face off. He's one of my favorites and definately a class act off the ice too.

Fitzgerald tweeted after the game that it felt great to get that first scrap of the regular season. #justataste After last night glad Murray dressed him as a forward at least.
(He also tweeted last night his frustration at seeing the boys get roughed up like they did in Bingo)
Manning's weird this year. He's actually decent fighting wise but Idk if it's wearing a letter now or what but he hasn't really gotten dirty and here it looked like he wanted to fight and then all the sudden stopped and it turned into a wrestling match.

Phantoms are a mind boggling team as they'll be boring and lifeless one night and then full of energy the next. I know tonight they apparently were getting their chances for teh second half of the game and carrying play to a degree but Helanius was great in net.

I know Rinaldo turned down Cote after a whistle but that was really all. He looks so disinterested in yapping and fighting this year its rediculous.

I would say the second period was pretty much all Crunch except for maybe the last 3-4 minutes. Then it was all powerplays and special teams from that point on but Id say Adirondack looked like a diff team in the third than they did the rest of the game. Coulda been a lot nastier if the refs didnt take over.
