Bulldogs Announced 13 Game Broadcast Schedule Locally

HAMILTON, ON – Hamilton Bulldogs President Stephen Ostaszewicz announced today that the Club has reached an agreement with Hamilton’s Cable 14 to broadcast 13 Bulldogs home games during the American Hockey League’s 2012-2013 regular season.

Cable 14’s broadcasts will begin this Friday, October 19th at 7:30 p.m. with coverage of the Hamilton Bulldogs’ home-opener versus the Toronto Marlies. Cable 14’s Broadcast Team will include Play-By-Play Announcer Todd Crocker, Colour Commentator Norm Miller and Host Mike Fortune.

SPRINGFIELD, Mass - The American Hockey League, Hamilton Bulldogs and TVA Sports announced today that the Canadian network will continue to be the official French-language television broadcaster of the Hamilton Bulldogs during the month of November.

The next TVA Sports broadcast will be on Saturday, November 3rd at 7 p.m. when the Bulldogs, AHL Affiliate of the Montreal Canadiens, take on the Rochester Americans, AHL Affiliate of the Buffalo Sabres, at Copps Coliseum in Hamilton.

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. … The American Hockey League and Sportsnet announced today that Sportsnet will continue coverage of the AHL’s 77th season with four live, national, high-definition broadcasts on Saturdays in November.

On Nov. 3, the Hamilton Bulldogs (top affiliate of the NHL’s Montreal Canadiens) will host the Rochester Americans (Buffalo Sabres) in a North Division showdown at 7 ET/4 PT. The game will air live on Sportsnet ONE. Hockey Central host Daren Millard will be joined by analysts Brad May and John Shannon to preview the game as well as provide intermission analysis. Play-by-play announcer Kevin Quinn and analyst Louie DeBrusk hit the broadcast booth to call the action, while Gene Principe hosts from rinkside.

On Nov. 10, the Oklahoma City Barons (top affiliate of the NHL’s Edmonton Oilers) pay a visit to the Abbotsford Heat (Calgary Flames) in an AHL twist on the Battle of Alberta. The game will air live on Sportsnet West and Sportsnet Pacific, as well as on Sportsnet ONE, at 10 ET/7 PT. Hockey Central host Jeff Marek and analysts Brad May and John Shannon will preview the game as well as provide intermission analysis. Play-by-play announcer Rob Kerr and analyst Charlie Simmer will call the game from up top while Louis DeBrusk provides rinkside analysis from between the benches. Roger Millions hosts from the Abbotsford Entertainment & Sports Centre.

On Nov. 17, the Hamilton Bulldogs (Montreal Canadiens) and Toronto Marlies (Toronto Maple Leafs) renew their rivalry at Ricoh Coliseum. That game can be seen on Sportsnet ONE at 3 ET/noon PT. The Hockey Central team of Daren Millard, Brad May and John Shannon will provide pre-game and intermission analysis while Joe Bowen and Greg Millen return to the broadcast booth to provide play-by-play and analysis, respectively, and Paul Hendrick hosts from rinkside.

And on Nov. 24, the Chicago Wolves (Vancouver Canucks) face off against the Milwaukee Admirals (Nashville Predators), live on all four Sportsnet regional channels at 8 ET/5 PT. The full broadcast team will be announced in the coming weeks.

Checkers Announce 12 Game TV Broadcast Schedule

The Checkers and Time Warner Cable announced today that 12 Checkers home games this season will be broadcast live on Time Warner Cable digital channel 520. Special Events Channel 520 is available to all Time Warner Cable digital cable subscribers throughout the Carolinas.

The San Antonio Rampage and FOX Sports Southwest announced today that they will broadcast five Rampage games throughout the team’s 2012-13 season.

"We are looking forward to this great opportunity to showcase hockey in South Texas,” said Spurs Sports & Entertainment Director of Broadcasting Mike Kickirillo. “Rampage games offer some of the best entertainment in San Antonio and we believe that broadcasting games this season will get our local viewers excited and engaged with the team."

FOX Sports Southwest will televise two Rampage home games and three Rampage road games starting on Wednesday, Dec. 19, as the Rampage take on their in-state rival Texas Stars in Cedar Park at 7:30 p.m. at Cedar Park Center. Rampage play-by-play broadcaster Dan Weiss and Spurs television host and in-game reporter Andrew Monaco will serve on the television broadcast team.

The Washington AHL Showcase presented by GEICO, between the Hershey Bears and Norfolk Admirals at Verizon Center on Thursday, Dec. 6 (7 p.m.), will be televised on Comcast SportsNet Mid-Atlantic and ABC 27.2 RTV (Central Pennsylvania). The live coverage will be available to viewers throughout Virginia, Maryland, D.C. and Central Pennsylvania, including both teams’ home markets.

The Admirals and Bears will clash in the third of eight regular-season meetings on Thursday night at Verizon Center in Washington, D.C. The teams first met on Wednesday at Norfolk Scope Arena and will meet again on Saturday at Giant Center in Hershey, Pa.

Washington Capitals radio play-by-play broadcaster John Walton and ABC-27 sports director Gregg Mace will call the action from Verizon Center.

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. ... The American Hockey League and Sportsnet announced today the addition of six AHL games to the network's broadcast schedule, as Sportsnet solidifies itself as the Canadian destination for live hockey coverage this December:

Saturday, Dec. 15 - Texas Stars at Abbotsford Heat

10 ET/7 PT (Sportsnet West and Pacific regions, Sportsnet ONE)

The Western Conference-leading Abbotsford Heat (Calgary Flames affiliate) host the Texas Stars (Dallas Stars), live from the Abbotsford Entertainment & Sports Centre. Hockey Central host Daren Millard is joined by former AHL All-Star defenseman P.K. Subban and analyst John Shannon to provide pre-game and intermission analysis, while play-by-play man Rob Kerr joins analyst Charlie Simmer in the broadcast booth, with John Garrett reporting from between the benches. Roger Millions rounds out the broadcast team as host.

Friday, Dec. 21 - St. John's IceCaps at Hamilton Bulldogs

7:30 ET/4:30 PT (Sportsnet, all regions)

Sportsnet kicks off the weekend with a Canadian showdown, as the Atlantic Division's St. John's IceCaps (Winnipeg Jets) pay a visit to the North Division's Hamilton Bulldogs (Montreal Canadiens). The Hockey Central panel of host Jeff Marek and analysts John Shannon and Nick Kypreos break down the game with pre-game and intermission analysis. RJ Broadhead calls the play-by-play alongside analyst Sam Cosentino and host Rob Faulds.

Saturday, Dec. 22 - San Antonio Rampage at Hamilton Bulldogs

7 ET/4 ET (Sportsnet, all regions)

It's a Western Conference showdown when the San Antonio Rampage (Florida Panthers) head north to take on the Hamilton Bulldogs (Montreal Canadiens). Hockey Central's Jeff Marek and John Shannon break down the game in pre-game and intermission analysis, while the broadcast team of RJ Broadhead, Sam Cosentino and Rob Faulds return to call the action live from Hamilton.

Wednesday, Dec. 26 - Hamilton Bulldogs at Toronto Marlies

1 ET/10 a.m. PT (Sportsnet ONE)

It's a Boxing Day battle in Southwestern Ontario when the Hamilton Bulldogs (Montreal Canadiens) visit the Toronto Marlies (Toronto Maple Leafs) at the Air Canada Centre. Joe Bowen and Greg Millen provide play-by-play and analysis, respectively, while host Paul Hendrick provides intermission analysis alongside Jim Ralph and Dan Dunleavy.

Friday, Dec. 28 - St. John's IceCaps at Hamilton Bulldogs

7:30 ET/4:30 PT (Sportsnet, all regions)

The Hamilton Bulldogs (Montreal Canadiens) have home-ice advantage as the St. John's IceCaps (Winnipeg Jets) visit Copps Coliseum once again. The Hockey Central panel of Daren Millard, Nick Kypreos and John Shannon provide pre-game and intermission analysis. From Hamilton, Kevin Quinn calls the play-by-play alongside analyst Louie DeBrusk and host Rob Faulds.

Saturday, Dec. 29 - Abbotsford Heat at Chicago Wolves

8 ET/5 PT (Sportsnet ONE)

The Abbotsford Heat (Calgary Flames) look to bring their fire to the Windy City when they take on the Chicago Wolves (Vancouver Canucks). Hockey Central host Dan Murphy and analysts John Garrett and Garry Valk provide pre-game and intermission analysis, while Jason Shaver and Billy Gardner bring home the call from Allstate Arena.

Comcast Network officially announced Wednesday that they'll broadcast four Adirondack Phantoms games beginning this coming Saturday when the Phantoms host the Manchester Monarchs at the Glens Falls Civic Center. Tim Saunders and Chris Therien will have the call.

Here's the full list of games to be broadcast on TCN:

* Saturday, December 15: Manchester at Phantoms, 7 p.m.

* Saturday, December 22: Phantoms at Bridgeport, 7 p.m.

* Friday, January 4: Phantoms at Connecticut, 7 p.m.

* Saturday, January 12: Phantoms at Wilkes-Barre/Scranton, 7 p.m.

* Friday, February 22: Wilkes-Barre/Scranton at Phantoms at Wells Fargo Center, 7 p.m.
