I am EXTREMELY surprised at the leniency with which these players were suspended and that no one else got anything. I am also happy that they might all be dressed for their next meeting on Friday the 13th.

Why Lalonde and Latta get 3 and so many others from both teams get none is complete bull****.

How is leaving the box any different than jumping the wall during a stoppage?

Flick gets 3 and Smith gets 1? Why?

I think this is cherry picking at its best by the AHL...

According to Herbers during the pregame, Smith got a game for not ditching the blocker fast enough...

the real question is as to why smith isn't serving it tonight...the only guess is that milwaukee probably couldn't get another goalie in time??

That is correct. Since the suspension was handed down Tuesday afternoon with the game only hours away. Also, Pickard was called up to Nashville that afternoon, so that would have left whoever the #2 in Cincy was. Since the Clones season was officially over at that point, I don't believe whoever that was could be located in time.
