Kerby Rychel vs Ryan Hartman

hartman had laid at least 3 big hits and rychel had enough. the two came together and it seemed that rychel landed the biggest shot of all, making hartman seem to stumble. edge rychel

Kerby Rychel vs Ryan Hartman:

Hartman has been a little buzz saw all through the first period with 3 big hits and Rychel came on to send a message. Rychel skates over and engages Hartman away from the play and they drop the gloves and get in tight quickly. As they grapple together they get some space and Rychel drills him with two hard rights that clearly hurt. Hartman tries a weak shot off balance and Rychel gets his helmet off and lands a solid right uppercut and a weak shot to the back of Hartman's head before they go to the ice. Win Rychel.

Curtis Lazar vs Darnell Nurse:

Starts off as a battle in front of the net, both guys trying to play physical, and they get in tight and start talking and the gloves come off quickly. Lazar throws a hard left to start and pushes Nurse off balance a bit with the right, causing Nurse's big left to miss... Lazar than lands a big left hand flush and follows with a short left that scores but had noting behind it... Lazar tries a third left that grazes shoulder pad. Nurse than tries a right that may have grazed Lazar and another that missed. Lazar throws another left that looks to land and Nurse counters with a right that hits shoulder pad, while Lazar misses with a big left... Nurse throws two rights to the back of Lazar while he's off balance, and they both throw punches that land softly, Lazar with a left, Nurse with a right. Nurse lands a very short right and Lazar misses with a big left but knocks off Nurse's helmet, and Nurse throws a right that hits Lazars helmet and than rips off the helmet completely. Lazar throws another big left that looks to land and stun Nurse who ducks his head down. Lazar misses with a big follow up left and at that point Nurse tackles his leg and brings him down. Lazar looked good fighting here and gets the clear win, Nurse got tagged and quit on the fight.
