Games really are retard proof these days. I'm halfway through world 7 on New SUper Mario Bros. for Wii U and I'm constantly at 99lives and still getting all the super coins or hidden coins or whatever they're called. And getting those is the only remote challenge. My brother JUST started playing it as well and is just cheesing it and is nearly to where I am rockin 50+ lives.
It is fun. I am having fun. But the reviews I read claimed this was a 'fun challenge'. Or one of the 'more challenging Mario games in some time'. No. |

I will be picking up MLB The Show 13 tomorrow. Ill post my thoughts after I get my **** together. I usually do Road to the Show first and maybe a Career later on.
I have a good feeling this will be the best baseball game ever.

I beat Mario U the night before I went home. I guess I missed the bonus levels on worlds 1, 2, and 3 but got every other Super Coin besides that (only challenge and only reason it didn't take 3hrs). All boss battles in the game were Mario 3 mechanics so nothing got hard. Random clunky tilt controls thrown in world 8 levels cause a little bit of heartache but still finished with over 90lives. Beating the game unlocked a "Star Road" which I obviously didn't have 3 of the levels unlocked. Didn't even try any of those though. I would assume they would unlock one last final level if you beat all 8. so 12ish levels I missed out on.
I'd give the game a 6 out of 10. Fun but nothing new or challenging. |

Any Diablo 1 players here?
I always regretted not hitting 50 so I started up months ago and casually leveled.. just hit 50 today for the first time ever. The game came out in.... 1996? haha |

Not for like 15 years. I would have to LAN it with someone to go back to it.
That Tristam theme is something else, aint it?

MLB 13 plays quite similar to the previous ones. There are LOTS of controls, but I caught on to most of them (baserunning is a bitch, as always). Fantastic graphics and game play. FANTASTIC! I'm glad I bought it. I only buy baseball games every two or three years...

Thats what Ive been doing with the EA NHL games for the last 6 years (I own NHL 08, NHL 10 and NHL 12). Time is coming up soon for me to decide if Im going to get NHL 14 or not. There will have to be something fairly impressive and new for me to buy it. |
