Hell, you want a fun platformer you can always play one of the Kirby games...for SNES I would recommend either Kirby Super Star or Kirby's Dream Land 3.

My roommates and I just finished getting an A rank on every mission in Sonic Adventure 2. I somehow managed to get every single ring on hard mode in Cosmic Wall (461 rings!). My one roommate handled the Sonic & Shadow levels, my other did the Knuckles & Rouge ones, and I handled the Tails & Robotnik/Eggman ones. Almost threw my controller in anger a few times after getting some B ranks!

When I had originally played it I was Roland and by the time I beat the game + all DLC's and some of playthrough 2 I was more than done with the game. Then 2 came out and I beat that but it left plenty to be desired. Never bothered with the DLC's. But yeah, played as Anton so I still hadn't mixed things up character-wise yet. So for this playthrough on #1 I went with Lilith. Things were rough at first but I ended up overly grinding things like killing everything on my way to a quest, etc. And I got ahead of the curve around level 18. Been coasting semi-easily since. Just got to New Haven (did "What happened to T.K. and Mothrak real quick before quitting). Level 23 and coming to terms with Lilith's style. I've kinda avoided her elemental perks (which I'm thinking I'll regret later) and been trying to go for a hit and evade style. Lot's of shield boosts and healing and stuns. Basically go in guns blazing, dance little close range, take some damage and phasewalk out of there. Fun enough to keep me interested for now. We'll see how I feel about the extra stuff after beating the game. But the price was right and some entertainment. Headed downstate tomorrow morning for 2ish weeks and doubt I'm bringing my PC. My brother still hasn't gotten anything for his Wii-U so I think our only gaming is gonna be Mario Kart DoubleDash and and original WiiSports. Maybe I will bring my comp... Haha. |

Might have to get a Wii U I realized. I haven't been a generation without Nintendo since the N64 days when I had the PlayStation...and even the N64 I got later.
Need my Mario, Metroid, etc. fix bad. Also this Lego City Undercover is being published by the big N and looks like GTA for kids. ![]() If the reviews are really good I might even though I've never bought a Lego game. Apparently the next Smash Bros and 3D Mario will be unveiled at E3. While I can live without Mario Kart, I can't without those. What I'm really hoping for is the first 3D Donkey Kong since 1999... Lego gta is too funny.
I found splatterhouse for PS3 at walmart for 10 bucks, dont know how many played the orginal splatterhouse way back when but the game unlocks classic versions of 1,2 and 3 .. definately worth 10 bucks. |

That Lego game really caught my attention at last E3. Depending on what happens with what Sony and Microsoft come out with at E3 (or whatever the next closest major gaming show is), I may end up getting a Wii U and a gaming PC for the next "video game generation."
Anyway, I think I'm going to download the trial for Sonic 4. I've been on a Sonic binge recently.

Forgot that I had found NHL Hitz 2002 for the GameCube at a thrift store a few months ago and sent it to my brother. So we tried it out last night since I'm down here visiting. Not quite the fun I remember from 11 years ago... Haha. Pretty awful game. But I beat him 4-3 and 8-2 so whatever. I remember the hits being more intense and there being just more variety of moves and such, but it's ridiculously basic. Guess I WAS still smoking pot back then, maybe that added to it.
But we quickly switched over to our real sibling rivalry; Mario Kart DoubleDash. Got the win there too. He got GameFly and the New SUper Mario Bros for the Wii U is suppose to be on its way. Will be nice to try out a real Wii U game besides the party game thingy that came with it. Also did end up bringing my PC, gonna get some StarCraft (original) in with the broheim as well. But been coasting some more on my Lilith playthrough on Borderlands. I'm level 32 and beat the game at 36 with Roland so I'm getting there. Do believe I'll be at least 38 with her though. |

SUper Mario for Wii U whatever it's called arrived awhile ago. Pretty fun, but too easy so far. Finished world 2 with all the hidden coins on every level so far and I have 50+ lives. Games are just too retard safe these days. Still fun though!
Also have played it a few times on just the Wii U Gamepad thingy while watching hockey on the TV. Pretty handy, but this place is too big to really take it far. Since it's sending HD info it's reliable range is only about 30feet and doesn't like thick walls (or other wifi devices so I've read). So that kinda stinks. I wanted to play it while taking a **** upstairs. |

Beat Borderlands with Lilith. MEH. Haha... Just a breeze the whole way after the early grind. Was level 36 and took just under 16hrs. Def not playing the DLC's as both the claptrap revolution and zombie one's are just endless waves of mindlessness. Was thinking playing it again would rekindle the fun, but I think I may be done done with the game now. Oh well, 7bucks.

you never get enough VC! my guy is good enough, but all the animations? all the "gear"? all the cool ****ing ****?! SUPER EXPENSIVE! i wanted an achievement (buying Jordan's dunk pakage) so i saved up 5k. FIVE THOUSAND! that's so many god damn games! so, i've started only playing "key games" (because it's times 2 XP), but then you miss out on so much and worst of all, it affects my averages! if you play 8 minute games, the stats are pretty legit, but they take forever. if you play 5 minute games, both teams score 50 points. ****ing maddening. i don't know. maybe it doesn't bother you, but i just can't take it. i end up playing one game and i just get bored. the lack of a constant feel of progress hurts my desire to play a lot. plus! PLUS! i'm 7'0", 220 pounds and my vertical is capped at 55?! what the god damn **** **** kind of idea is that? if i had a god damn nickel for every time i boxed someone out and then Jeremy Lin or James Harden out jump me for a ****ing board i'd have several nickels. maybe 16 or so. ---------------- also, for anyone who has an Xbox, there are several "on demand" games on sale. i don't have much to say about any of the other games, but GRID is on there for $4.99! if you like racing games and haven't played GRID, pick it up. i don't even like racing games and i love it.

I'm there with you on that one. I did notice that if you do drills and stuff like that, you can get VC points. Also, if you play season games outside of your career, that can earn you points too. The game is so thorough that its tough to put down. That is, until I get MLB 13... that's gonna change things...
