Forget Genesis, it's time to step your game up, nickdoh...

Screw that noise! I got my older brother's Atari 2600 when he got an NES, then he gave me the NES, then my first system that was mine from the get go was that Sega! Genesis>SNES! My little brother was the SNES man in the family.

Also, 25k is pretty steep, even for that. There's lots of video game hipsters out there with deep pockets that might oblige if he explained what he was doing better.

He will probably get the money. He's the maker of the BSNES emulator (one of the best ever), his noble goal is making a ROM copy of every SNES game ever made so they will remain forever playable. He is taking the 25k and putting it towards the entire Japanese released SNES game catalog, which I believe has almost twice as many titles. The man is a saint.

I'm not real big on video games but just downloaded Sid Meier's Pirates for my IPad last week and it is an absolute blast to play.

It's only $4.99 and I'm getting tons of hours out of it, will be playing it for a long time to come.

Yeah, I was just saying he should be broadcasting that more and as loudly as he can. And outside the reddit world. Someone would gladly fund him. Think in the end he gets more like 18k though.

I was playing Fifa 13 but got so angry with that I turned it off.

It installed an update today when I turned on my Xbox and since then I can't win games. I don't play online but play with the two guys I live with I win probaly 8 out of 10 games today I lost 4 on the trot. Defending on corners have gone out the window it just chooses a random player in the box makes you him then as your about to head the ball it'll change to another. Just stupid things like that. Also got Lens sent of for PSV for a millisecond late standing tackle never got so angry with a game before

Actually a pretty good game. Haha, I think I have it for my psp. I haven't played that thing for a while.

I'm going to beat Max Payne 3 again on hard difficulty this time. Surprisingly, I haven't died as much as I thought was going to die. I guess playing it once before really helps the second time around.

Continuing along with my ESPN National Hockey Night (Sega CD) season; It's just giving my random wins and loses and ties like crazy. By the end of the season I'm gonna have like 100+ gameplayed.

I'm currently REALLY 27-9-1
Standings currently show 29-14-3?

I haven't counted the calendar to see if it doesn't have a full season or something but it sure looks like it.

Whatever though, I'm committed. And I have been losing games here and there finally.

Also found a couple little cheap Genesis bundles online at diff sites and got a couple games;

Sonic 3 (very much wanted, have 1 and 2)
Vectorman 2 (very much wanted, have 1)
Starflight (on my radar)

Then just parts of the bundles;

T2 Arcade
Super Hang-On
Ex-Mutants
Aliens 3

Downloaded Arkham Asylum earlier. Just got past Bane. Seems pretty decent so far.

Still having fun with Hitman. I could have easily beaten this game by now, but I keep replaying boards and finding different ways to kill people. I had one guy who would walk to a certain area to make a cell phone call. I noticed there was a gas pump in the area. I took the handle off and spilled gasoline all over the ground. Next time he walked over I shot the gas and sparked a huge explosion. Blew him to bloody f*cken hell.

The best part was what I didn't notice. There was a huge cache of fireworks off to the side that ignited and went off as well. Was pretty f*cking awesome.

With Vectorman 2 being delivered soon, I decided to take a real run at Vectorman. Since getting my system back I had taken probably 3-4 casual/lazy runs at it, never getting much further than level 6 or 7 (of 16). But I freaking DEMOLISHED that game last night. Default settings so medium basically. The bosses are way more predictable with easy patterns than I remember as a kid (or even playing on ROMs). Had some trouble with later levels and lost some lives. But I got all three bonus stages and had 7 lives left at the end. Only thing I missed was 1 or 2 max life+'s.

Really just a great game and rewards you for being tactical over just running willy-nilly. Even though the controls are solid enough to let you do either. Neat graphics for the time. And great sound. Will always be one of my favorites on the Genesis.
