What game are you currently playing?

Gaming wise has anyone been affected by Sandy? Infinity ward's servers that already suck anyways have been slowed or not working at all. Haven't been able to play online. If that's the only way Sandy affects me I'm happy.

Anyone getting the new Black ops? I don't know if it's worth all the hype.

Been playing AC3, it's been fun so far. The ship battle was really cool, and well done. I've only done one but I'm sure there will be a few more. One thing that bugs me is when I'm "free running" my guy will just jump to some random place that I didnt want him to go. I'm a little past the part where you uncover the plot to kill George Washington.

Over the last week or so I plowed through a season of Tecmo Super Bowl again. 3000yds with Barry Sanders became my goal.



That's with him missing three games from injury too! Went 14-2. Beat the 49ers 17-16 with a 4th quarter come back. Then despite losing Barry in the 1st quarter against the Giants I still beat them 20-9 to make the Super Bowl... Where I promptly lost to the Raiders again. 42-23 going away.

Nothing gaming-wise has been catching my eye lately and with the NHL lockout I've been watching way too much football... Was the only thing that sounded interesting.

In an effort to get my wife to play something other than Wii Excite Truck I picked up Wii Mario Kart.

Played it for a few hours so far and it's pretty fun. The only other Mario Kart I really played was on SNES, and I will have to say the Wii battlemode doesn't come close to the SNES version.

That's been a problem the entire series, unfortunately. The worst is when you're being chased and the numbnut is trying to scale walls when you're just trying to escape the area. Dammit, I should've known that if I quoted you, I would end up seeing the spoiler. Oh well. I still absolutely loathe the controls, but I really enjoyed the Boston tea dumping mission and I love the fact that you can use a guard as a "human shield" when the redcoats shoot at you (even though I've only had it actually work 1 out of 5 times that I've tried) .

Been bouncing back and forth between AC3, Medal of Honor:Warfighter, and NASCAR: Inside Line.

Really hate the bugs with AC3 but the game itself is stunning.

Medal of Honor again great story line, ok controls, and the graphics and gameplay could use some tweaking. I was probably in the minority after liking the first one so much.

NASCAR IL is pretty good, parts I don't like, but the game itself is much better than last year's dreadful product.

Adding to the mix on Wednesday will be COD:BO and I am actually a bit more excited for it then in the past few times. Really don't recoginze COD from the way they use to be. I still have COD Big Red One for PS2.

anyway, i just 5 star'd every song in Guitar Hero 3 (on Hard, unfortunately). Raining Blood took 4 tries, One took 2 (ironic!), everything else was done first try.
