After going a month without games the withdrawals hit hard a night or two ago so I just plugged in my controller and loaded up some NES Roms. Tried that Guerrilla War real quick that knckler linked since I had never played it. Then loaded up some NES Golf; +18 first round, then down to +6 then got under with -1. It all comes back quick. And topped the night off with a Tecmo Super Bowl game. NFC 58 over the AFC with 13. Andre Rison had like 400+ yds. Holla.

Well being too lazy to get in to anything else I started a season on Tecmo Super Bowl. Decided I wanted to be a ****ty AFC team because ever since I was a kid I was the Bears 99% of the time being a fan or another NFC team. And given the game doesn't present real challenge until the playoffs or big name injury if you're a "good" team I decided ****ty was the way to go. Went with the Seahawks. (Also not using any glitches like the center tackle)

5-2 right now, just lost a heartbreaker to the undefeated Raiders. was down 20-0 just before the half with Jackson/Allen running all over me and only a blocked PAT to show for my efforts. I managed to halt their drive at the 40 before the half. Got the ball and had a 4min drive (5min quarters) to finally get on the board 20-7. They fumbled the ensuing kickoff and I recovered and scored right as the 3rd ended to make it 20-14. Held them to a punt to start the 4th and returned the mother****er to take the lead 20-21!! But then Jackson ran down my throat to take the lead back and with 30secs left I couldn't put together the game winning drive. Bo knows how to break my heart...

Well after that loss to the Rrrrraiderrrs, I lost another to lowly San Diego then went on a winning streak to end the season including revenge on both. 13-3.

DEAD last in offense and rushing, 3rd in defense (1st pass, last rush).

My QB did have the best passer rating though.

Then I had a secret weapon in the return game (a few down on the list), got a punt return TD as well all while missing three games.

This is how the playoff tree broke down. Buffalo went 16-0!

**** gets real later tonight! Don't like my chances...

Well I got whooooooooooped. And by the Raiders. Wasn't even close. Gave up nearly 500yds of offense to them.

Raiders continued to the Super Bowl to lose to the Saints. The undefeated Bills got upset by Warren Moon and the Oilers. Goods times.

Ever think about just joining the dark side and using the Raiders? Even though Bo Jackson is so good it's almost cheating, it's still fun to run all over everyone with him.

I decided to go with a bad team on purpose to have more of a challenge. If I'm a good team it's usually an undefeated run to the championship unless somebody important gets injured for a game or two.

Playing as a good team is still damn fun though! The Bears were always my go to team, then the Giants for L.T. and the defense. Also, liked using Christian "The Nigerian Nightmare" Okoye and the Chiefs when it cam to running all over people.

Went and grabbed NCAA 13.

Good:
-Stadium effects on players, and response to big plays/hits
-Hits on guys diving over the top or jumping are way better
-Tackling in general is better, and the physics are way better

Bad:
-Fatigue after 2 plays
-Your AI players are retarded

Ugly:
-Replays... 95% of them have your player or there's stuck and moving, so no leg movements, just a guy in a two point stance "running" the big play.
-Due to some glitches, you can have perfect position with 3 guys in a row and still not make a pick or touch the ball on pass coverage. On the contrary, glitches for defense allow them to dive from the hash mark and get to the sideline.
-Dynasty freeze. Without fail, if the game runs to around 90 minutes, between recruiting and the game itself, expect the freeze. It is without fail, every single ****ing time.

Overall... It's a C+.

The ugly, graphic glitches and overall bad game play far outshadows the good, or refined things.

This is for XBOX 360.

Want a bad team? Try going undefeated with Tampa Bay. They do have some good players on defense though. I once had 6 INT's and 3 TD's in one game with Wayne Haddix against Denver.

Other than trying Bastion finally (and not being impressed at all thus far) I haven't played anything since my Tecmo Super Bowl demise. Maybe I'll have to take the Tampa Bay challenge. Won't go undefeated I know that much!
