Minecraft novelty can wear thin at times, but then gets fun to come back to after a break (especially on PC with constant updates). I forget how much I bought it for, it still was in Alpha when I got it so it wasn't much. But it was worth every penny.

Busted out my SNES emulator for some Sunset Riders the other day after thruby's post. YEEEEHAW!

Other than that, I grabbed Supreme Commander as I had never played it but I'm having a hard time getting in to it. It's got a lot of StarCraft components and a lot of Command & Conquer components so it's got a lot of potential but I have ADHD with games now or something...

I beat Prototype 2 today. Free roaming and completely obliterating everything and everyone in your path is fun. The story on the other hand was f*cking terrible. The missions become horribly redundant, and the reasons behind them are stupid.

Wait a while and buy it used.

Same thing and same advice for L.A. Noire.

I second that, thank god I only paid 12 bucks for LA noire because I played it for a week or two and havnt played it since. The questioning crap they make you do is just plain stupid. It was like an annoying GTA.

Lately ive been playing MK (which I finally bought), UFC 3, and tigerwoods 13. Once in a while ill pop in MLB or Madden. UFC 3 keeps me coming back because of the pride fights they are awesome.

I don't think it was crap. But it's not REALLY entertaining. Repetitive as f*ck. I paid 20 bucks for it and I think it was the right price. It's okay if you don't pay 60$ for it.

I'm about to play a pretty bad looking Penguins team in my fantasy season in NHL12. Their lineup is,

Daniel Alfredsson ..... Patrick Marleau ..... Dino Ciccarelli
Nathan Gerbe ......... Jeff Carter ............ Robert Lang
Travis Moen ........... Chris Kelly ............ Daniel Cleary
Jeff Odgers ............ Patrick Kaleta ........ Brian McGrattan

John-Michael Liles ..... Dmitri Yushkevich
Andrew Ference ........ Dave Manson
Jamie Pushor ............ Tom Poti

Martin Brodeur and Andrew Raycroft in net.

Top 10 penalty minute leaders after 25 or so games are,

Derek Boogaard - 121
Ken Baumgartner - 118
Bob Probert - 97
Marty McSorley - 95
Scott Parker - 90
Dennis Vial - 88
Eric Godard - 82
Brian McGrattan - 79
Jim Kyte - 76
Enrico Ciccone - 72

How does the fantasy season work? Are you playing against other guys for real? Do you all have to agree on the older player attributes or is it a free for all?

Really only Minecraft lately. Made a world from scratch with thruby and The Woodsman. We have a giant weird looking fortress we made and a huge glass tower. I'm also an idiot and I died a few times in lava while exploring for some goodies. Can't wait for the updates to come for this game.

Right now, we're working on Woodsman's world and his huge subway system. Probably going to need to do some more redstone hunting for those accelerated tracks, but it's fun!

Also last week, I rented Max Payne 3 from RedBox. It's not a bad game, but it's pretty damn hard. I died a bunch of times and I just sort of gave up on the third or fourth chapter (didn't feel like keeping the game anymore extra days since it's $2 for every extra day you keep it).

Ghost Recon Future Soldier comes out today. I already ordered it off Amazon, so hopefully I'll be playing it in a few days. Can't wait to play it since I'm a fan of most of the Tom Clancy games.

It's just me against the computer. I made stars and fighters from the 80's and 90's with accurate attributes. I started a season and did a fantasy draft to divide them up.

There's still a lot of guys like Craig Adams, John Mitchell on team's 4th lines, and guys like Jay Rosehill, Steve MacIntyre, and most tough guys I made in the AHL. So I go through the teams and trade the 4th line scrubs to the AHL for the fighters I want in the game.

What I'm generally left are teams with a nice mix of old and new stars and superstars that are stacked with toughness. It takes a looooooong time to make all the guys, but when I'm playing afterwards it's always worth it.

Going to smoke this here pipe a few times and then play the Toronto Maple Leafs in my fantasy season. Toronto is 4-19-3, good for last place in the league. Here's their lineup,

Shane Doan ......... Evgeni Malkin ........ Glenn Anderson
Jamie Benn .......... Saku Koivu ............ Steve Downie
Clarke MacArthur .. Tomas Plekanec ..... Chris Thorburn
Tony Twist .......... Sean Avery ........... Krzysztof Oliwa

Vladimir Konstantinov .... Scott Niedermayer
Bryan Allen ................. Kris Letang
Dale Purinton .............. Francois Leroux

Kari Lehtonen and Mike Smith in net.
