Got bored and snagged Skyrim on sale at Target for $30.

Pretty entertaining game. A mix between Fable and Champions of Norrath from PS2.

I got entirely too sick of Battlefield servers timing out or not connecting, NHL, and I swore I'd never touch MW3 again - and I'm sticking to it.

The NES one or the SNES one?

Call me crazy, but I thought the NES one was actually kinda okay! I'd never actually pay money for it, but I thought it was mildly entertaining!

The SNES one sucked though. That stupid book thing where you had to know (or in my case guess) all that historical crap and then you had to do that jet ski crap just to get that time machine crap to work.

A word of advice, don't play Mario is Missing.

As for me, I picked up Assassin's Creed Revelations on Friday. Gamestop had it on sale for $20 down from $60. I've played a little bit of it so far and it seems fairly fun. Like the others, the beginning is kinda slow, but I think I've gotten past all the tutorial, have the game hold your hand part. The tower defense thing isn't my cup of tea, but I didn't hate it as much as I thought I would.

SNES one.

Yeah it was strictly a matter of guessing the answers without even traveling to the time period. That whole surfing part was just the devs way of attempting to make the game 'hip' or something. What was worse is that the ROM I have of it didn't seem to display the mushrooms or spikey balls until they were a few inches in front of you, so if I didn't remember from back in the day you actually had to collect the shrooms, it would just look like a pointless open ocean of whirlpools to endlessly surf in.

Played Mario is Missing a long time ago too. I can see the point in all those educational Mario games Nintendo spit out, but man what a way to rape the characters. They could have at least given Mario a nerdy third brother or something to play as in them so as not to make Mario himself completely lame.

That annoying surf music is still stuck in my head.

3 days? I haven't finished it yet, I have done 15 missions so far or 21.

MW3 is just rehashed crap (old complaint I know) and the spawning "system" is down right horrible for a blockbuster game. You'd think with the billion + they made from the series so far that they would drop a million on improving something.
I know how you feel. I'm still playing it and it's silly how easy it is to "spawn trap" other players. I won't be picking up MW3 anytime soon with all the complaints I've seen.

Batman: Arkham City on "New Game Plus". it's been pretty fun, but i LOVED this game when i played on "Normal". it was challenging, but i was ****ING BATMAN and destroying. now, it's not way harder, but the boss battles are more frustrating. i don't know. it's not quite as fun, but it's still great. one of my favorite games ever, for sure.

i also (finally) bought Tiger Woods 13, after renting it a couple times. i wasn't sure if i really wanted it or not, but i haven't bought a game since MLB 12 and that's for ps3. the last game i bought for my 360 was UFC 3... and that lasted me two to three weeks. anyway, it's fun. i like it, but the putting is a mess. hell, the whole short game is a mess. i don't know. i hate lining up putts, only to **** up the stroke and blast it past the hole, which, i know from experience, happens a lot in real life, but i don't know. i suppose it's like my Batman complaints, i have more fun with a little challenge, then a frustrating one. whatever.

speaking of frustration though, i bought Trials Evolution. great game. it's super fun. the online is a cool addition and the track creator is sick. i thought all the tracks were WAY too easy though, until i got to the "extreme" tracks. i blazed through all the others, now i'm back to the frustration. if you've never played Trials, you're missing out. i'd pick up one or the other immediately.

Oh snap! I didn't know Trials Evolution was out!

I'm still waiting on Ghost Recon Future Soldier to come out.

lets see here.

i bought God of War 3. so far, it's a bit on the "meh" side, but i didn't have very high expectations coming in.

i also bought Hot Shots Golf: Out of Bounds, which is amazing, but there are no trophies, so that sucks dick.

i bought the season pass for all the Walking Dead games. the first one just came out and it's pretty great. i was pleasantly surprised.

and Tiger Woods 13, but i think i talked about that already.

I found out Street Fighter X Tekken was on PC so I grabbed it. The Tekken series was the only fighting game series I got in to in my later years. But still has been years since I played one. I had the arcade version (i think it was 6 or 7) downloaded on my PS3 back when I still had that.

ANywho, I haven't really done anything besides practice/training lol. There's three punches and three kicks so I'm having a hard time figuring out a controller configuration I like. Also the moves are ever so slightly different as always on the Tekken people. So I'm learning from scratch again. But it runs fine on my PC and I'll get in to it more when I have my one buddy I used to play Tekken with all the time over.

Also snagged a game called Toy Soldiers, it's a tower defense game so it isn't anything special. But you can control turrets and stuff first person, it's WW1 themed. Played it just once, was "okay". Potential time filler. I've had more time for video games lately, but no games to play!

Other than that, been dominating some word searches on my cell. Hollerrr.

never played the first one, but Toy Soldier's: Cold War (the sequel to the one you're talking about) is awesome. i hate tower defense, but i really enjoy this one. there was a supposed expansion coming, but it seems to have fallen off the face of the planet.

I downloaded Minecraft last night on my Xbox.

So far, it's pretty fun. I dug into the side of a hill to make a small base to wait out the night. Got bored in the middle of the night so I decided to dig deeper. I made a mini basement in my man made cave and put a bed there. Then I decided to make use of those trap doors and a little tunnel further beneath my basement. Started digging after reaching my desired depth and I stumbled upon a large cavern filled with zombies, a few skeletons, and a pig for some reason. Killed everything in there and set up some lights in there as well.

Day finally came and decided to leave my underground base and go exploring. I gathered some materials (mostly cobblestone and wood) and climbed up a mountain so build a permanent home. Of course, I'm a dumbass, and I thought it would be quick and easy to build a house at night. I was wrong and spiders came in and killed me.

I got frustrated so I decided to make a new world. Going to be a little more conservative this time around and not try to do too much in the middle of the night again.

On a different note, I'm also playing Trials Evolution. Very fun arcade game and well worth the $15.

I'm also patiently awaiting the new Ghost Recon game scheduled to come out on the 22nd.
