nope.

and for blades29; play heavy rain for sure, well worth playing. very innovative, visually fun and interesting. but DONT buy it. no replay value of any kind unless youre obsessive. and even then, it takes 3ish times to get every possible story arc. its also fairly short if you put good time into it. 8 hours to beat. a few story tweaks, a little lack of depth and 20hours short of being the game of the century(for ps3). it is worth a whirl.

Been playing NHL 2k9 a lot recently. I'm considering asking for NHL 11 for Christmas, how is it?

Thanks for the info, man.

I went and bought a used copy. Havent played it yet, but from what Ive read, there is lots to do and lots of replay time. I dunno!

Im gonna get my head into this game and see what it gives me. At first look, the graphics are unreal!

Well see!

went back to the first world on donkey kong country returns to collect everything. unlocked the first 'bonus' level or whatever you wanna call it for getting KONG on every level in the world. some of the best 2d paltforming in awhile. **** is challenging.

the game is really growing on me more and more. it also helps i got the controls down now. all the little silly nuances.

I love NHL 11. I've heard a lot of people bash it but honestly I think it is by far the best NHL game ever made... it's rough at the start but once you really get a feel for the game it's great.

I just beat Black Ops... I won't have LIVE until Christmas so I got a month to beat something else... I'm thinking I'll finally finish Red Dead or give FFXIII another go... probably Red Dead.

i'm currently bouncing between:

1) Mafia II's "Joe's Adventures" DLC. i ****ing love this game so much.

2) Assassin's Creed Brotherhood. pretty sweet so far, but maybe a bit too much like assassin's creed two.

3) Call of Duty: Black Ops. gotta run through it on Veteran soon. love the multiplayer, but it's nothing special.

4) NHL 11, of course.

5) and a game i was really stoked about, but has been swept under the rug by the rest of these games... Spiderman Shattered Dimensions. really sweet, but i've been playing everything else.

Alright, good to know. I'm just worried I'll miss the more arcade-style of play that 2k had, but I know I don't want to get 2k11, with it being Wii exclusive.

this doesn't deserve it's own thread, so i'll throw it in here considering i am playing it.

today only (so perhaps for only a few more hours) Turtles in Time: Re-Shelled is only 160 points. it's not the greatest game, but it also only costs 2 bucks.

hit it up, if you are so inclined.

ALSO

Trails and it's expansion pack are only 640 (together). if you do not own Trials, you should.

hadnt played minecraft in awhile. finished building my giant pointless tower and made a portal to the "nether world" on top of it. youre pretty outgunned in that place. died a bunch today just ****ing around. so i lost some decent stuff. but i came across a couple more dungeons. got some random stuff in the chests, nothing super good.

thanks to my deaths i now need to go explore some caves and mine next time. mostly because i dont have much more diamond.

kinda wish the guy would work on a leveling system. diamond tools are as "strong" as you can get. but all the emphasis is on multiplayer right now which i havent even touched. heard people are more anal and honorable on it than O.G. jedi knight. mostly little communities building crap.

but yeah, single player is wearing a little thin finally. sure you can explore and mine endlessly but ive "seen it all" at this point. need to think of some sort of stupid project to build.

I picked up Turtles in Time today too. Can't go wrong for 160 points!

I also got Splosion Man for 160 points, and that's a really fun game.

I just downloaded it! Hell, I haven't even played it yet!

I probably won't even get a chance to until December when the semester ends.
