Playing Aladdin right now on my SNES emulator. Still pretty fun (even though I'd only played it on the Genesis before).

LOVED that game! that and Lion King were surprisingly good games. i also enjoyed Jurassic Park and that Home Alone game, to a lesser extent. movie games blow now.

what difficulty do you play on?

Im on the hardest difficulty tournament is the hardest i think. The game would be to easy if I played it on any other difficulty.

Yo thruby, I'm thinking of picking up Dead Rising 2 when I come home next Saturday. Would you be interested in some co-op? I heard the game is way more fun (and less frustrating) on co-op.

I finally beat Blaster Master today. Without an emulator I would have never come close. I used save states in the middle of the last 3 bosses. And I used a map on the final two worlds. And I used and abused turbo button for fire.

Truly awesome NES game I never knew of or played when I was young. Great gameplay and really really good music. The difficulty level isn't really super absurd besides bosses, but the path finding and back tracking can get rough. And the final, final boss took an absurd amount of hits.

I think this game pretty much caps my run through NES games for now. I've beaten quite a few games in almost every genre recently and I'm not going to lie to myself that I'll finish an RPG. Then stuff like the Mega Man(s) or Zelda(s) I've beat multiple times and don't have the desire... So, break time from the NES emulator more than likely.

I got a few crappy artsy/independent games for my POS PC lined up I want to try. So probably that.

I know Case West is co-op, but is Case Zero co-op as well? I'm probably going to get that first (sort of like a demo) to make sure I wanna drop $40-$50 on DR2.

I've been playing NBA Jam on my SNES emulator like crazy. I love the Charlotte Hornets!

just don't let it trick you into thinking the newest NBA Jam is worth a shot!

With the playoffs starting to wind down, I finally got a chance to play The Sims Medieval for a couple hours. Like I usually do when I first start a game like this and are still learning the ins and outs, I create a 'good/generic' character. My current hero roster looks like this: Lvl 4 Monarch, Lvl 5 Knight, Lvl 5 Merchant, and a Lvl 1 Blacksmith.

The game doesn't take itself seriously and is filled with little bits of dry and dark humor, which is a good thing. I think once I play for a bit longer with my current characters I will create a new one with a much more evil route in mind.

well, for some reason, i rented Marvel vs Capcom 3. maybe it's because Devs assured me it was shiny. who knows. Mortal Kombat has been rented out every time i've entered the building, so that didn't help either.

i finally bought NHL 07 again, to get my last three achievements. i got one, still have to score 2 PP goals in one game (which would be easy if the computer took penalties) and finish ten years of a dynasty (which would be easy if it didn't stop simming every time someone went on waivers).

i also bought Backyard Sports: Sandlot Sluggers, or some game closely named... and it's pretty fun. i enjoyed myself for 3 games of the story mode, then read that there's an achievement for winning every game by the 10 run Mercy Rule, so i restarted to do that. oh well, 95% of the achievements can be done by plugging in a second controller, if need be, i guess.

still trying to finish Shadow Complex. that game is amazing. also, still trying to finish Raskulls, which is amazing. i'm going to buy the DLC soon, so i'm looking forward to that too.

i'm going to start playing Battlefield again soon, too.
