Hmmm...I seem to remember beating you many times in NHL 10 (where you'd only pick the Sharks). And then you kept on wanting to play every single time I turned on my Xbox.

I would rather play aginst people I know who want a good game of hockey. FAR TOO MANY losers on x-box live are only worried about their gamer scores and will do whatever cheap crap they can to do to get wins. I don't know why I kept coming across those pricks, buy I ended up quitting more games than I finished in NHL 11. What's the point?

I had a guy score to open a game once. He then spent the rest of the 1st period trying to play keep away by entering my zone and then constantly throwing the puck back to his own end to try to kill off time. He started doing it in the 2nd period too. I couldn't believe I was actually playing someone who was pulling that sh1t.

i feel the same way. the only way i play against random people is WITH friends of mine. it's just not fun. no one plays hockey. even the drop in games i've played in NHL 12 have been pretty suspect as far as true hockey goes, but at least i can play with my buddies.

I can't play drop in games. The goalies are always brutal and one team always ends up having a 9-0 lead. Then everyone quits in the middle of it. I'll never play drop in games ever again.

I understand your frustrations with regular versus matches too. I remember in NHL 08 or 09, I was winning 1-0 with 30 seconds left in the 3rd and the guy I was playing with quit.

I asked him why he quit and he replied, "because you're a stupid Devils fan."

The nerve on some hooligans! Although, I had more success in random online matches in NHL 11. But overall, I primarily stick to just EASHL with my homeslices on here.

I try to find a few guys and play them all the time. Guys I have close games with and neither of us quit.

Speaking of quitting, BO sounds like a quitter, and dogging people for doing cheap ****. What cheap **** are they doing? I've played 1,000s of games and very few people do anything cheap. It's an excuse for peope who lose and quit. I think quitting is the worst.

NHL 11 pissed me off so much with them cheapening the game so anyone can play. In 09 and 10 if you played on All-star, 4-3 games would be rare. I played on all star against my buddy (who ****ing sucks) and I barely beat him 7-6 in OT. It was 6 games and every one was high scoring like that.

We immediately played NHL 10 after I launched my Gatorade bottle at the TV, and I beat him in 4 straight games where he couldn't score a goal.

They updated the ****ing game so any joe schmo can pick up the controller and think he is good. From the looks of the new game, and from what I hear, this game can go **** itself.

Cutting acros the slot and exposing goalies pathetic lateral movement with easy goals. The same lame left to right breakaway goal every time. Keep away as I mentioned. People who refuse fights to draw penalties etc.

Good for your PS3 success though. You're a Hall of Fame worthy PS3 onliner with 1000's of games under your belt. Kudos. Now get an xbox 360, go back in time to early October last year and play the same jokers I did. I played maybe 15 games and enough was enough.

Bought the game. I noticed the Custom Music is a big echo-y. THe hitting is pretty good. Havent put anyone through the glass but have ran multiple goalies.

Not bad!

I don't play online much at all, and am not that good, but... davetns on the PS3
