You can choose also 1980-81 version of the Jets uniforms. The ones with the old logo, blue is the away one and white is the home one.

Props to EA for one good change.. in NHL 11 the opposing goalies used to cover the puck if you were standing ANYWHERE around them with your player..even when you were a few meters from them. In NHL 12 you can be close to the goalie but he still plays the puck to his Dmen. It makes the game quicker.. While playing NHL 11 you got into 50 pauses, game in NHL12 is much quicker without those boring pauses.

I´m playing with the penalties set to maximum, I hit like an animal and still I play lot of periods WITHOUT penalties. I tried all of the game styles but hardcore and in all of these styles you meet the same problem...you can hit opposing players at full speed and the resulting collision is lame and they often dont even fall !!!

-Today the game froze again, this time not after a fight but in normal gameplay !!!!

You on playstation or xbox? Sometimes one system does it more than the other when it comes to game freezing.

looks like he's on ps3, Kam. i haven't had any freezes at all, but obviously he's using a hard copy and i'm still using the download. hopefully they fix it by the time it's out in the US.

I´m on PS3.. I have both NHL 11 and NHL 12 hard copies from the shop..
Been playing NHL 11 for whole year and it froze about three times together...and then it did happen in the season mode while simutaling to the next game.. I was unable to finish my season...that was awful

I´m playing NHL 12 for a few days now and it already froze two times in the gameplay.. If it will happen a few times more I´m going to the shop to change the discs for another one.. But I think they have whole first delivery of discs which are all exactly the same..

you're right. the disks are already made, but i meant with a patch or something, not on the disks. hopefully they're made aware of the problem and patch it up.

ou yeah, patch would be fine.. hopefully it comes.. I´m sure if the game really has freezing problems, people will let the EA sports know...

holy **** is the computer D ****ing terrible. this could be a big problem in the EASHL. it's shockingly bad in the Be-A-Pro.

i don't know, dude. it's really, really bad. numerous times my computer controlled D-man has backed up in to the goalie, keeping him from getting over and stopping a puck. they're CONSTANTLY right in front of the goalie, almost in his crease, so shots from right above the circles are always open on the PP. the computer skates to a corner, the d-men drop to the goal line, they cut across or pass across for an easy one timer and it's ridiculously effective.

this is all in be-a-pro though, for the record.

Yeah, that doesn't sound too promising. Well maybe it will be different in EASHL, but I doubt it. I was really hoping the D would improve, that was one of my biggest complaints about NHL '11.

Right now I´m adjusting the roster as there is no new roster download right now and I´m starting a regular season with my AVS

WTF? 6th August? Over here in Italy most onlineshops don't care about NHL 2012, and the stores in my town are retarded anyways. They'll get the game not before october I'm pretty sure about that.

Guess I'll have to order it again from Germany or UK, like every year.
