I'm in the minority here but I think that Link wasn't as crazy on the ice as some others in this tourney. His escapades off of the ice seem to propel his image. I'm gonna vote for Theriault here.

Link for sure... He was crazy on and off the ice... I played with some guys that played with Link and they had some stories for sure

Gaetz for sure. The guy is off his rocker on and off the ice. I've witnessed him lose his marbles under both circumstances and there is no reasoning with the man once he sees red no matter the situation. Only guy I've ever seen try and pick fights with guys during drills in a practice with no jobs on the line or anything to warrant it. Then when he's told to settle down he flipped out and threw his stick and wanted to fight everyone. After the practice everyone went to the bar and he lasted 10 minutes before starting a brawl. This was after he had supposedly settled down.

Link, but i agree that he had the big rep off the ice. I still go with Link because of the fact that when he was in his prime and basically a mental case, there were no clips or media coverage as much in the early 90s as opposed to now or when Joel was comin up.

MY age is showing but i remember some of his battles against Kocur, Now i am hard pressed to say which of the two were crazier....neither one seemed totally normal to me.....after a game we did get autographs.....both seemed normal but after watching the two i wonder if this was an illusion
