This is really awesome! Seriously, thanks again pesadillamal!!

Voth, no matter how much time goes by, will always be one of the legendary wild men of the Central League; and one of my favorites. The guy would take no sh*t from anyone and would simply lose it if it was warranted. (see him jumping the penalty box glass and onto the time keepers table after being speared in the nuts during a game in 2005-06. This is the game that he broke a Memphis RiverKings player's jaw and was given 77 minutes in penalties)

The penalty totals:

Quote:

Tulsa - Curtis Voth - (Hooking), 2 min, 8:13
Tulsa - Curtis Voth - (Fisticuffs Major), 5 min, 10:24
Tulsa - Curtis Voth - (Elbowing Major), 5 min, 6:07
Tulsa - Curtis Voth - (Fisticuffs Major), 5 min, 6:07
Tulsa - Curtis Voth - (Abuse of Officials Misconduct) (Rule 41), 10 min, 6:07
Tulsa - Curtis Voth - (Abuse of Officials Misconduct) (Rule 41), 10 min, 6:07
Tulsa - Curtis Voth - (Elbowing Game Misconduct), 10 min, 6:07
Tulsa - Curtis Voth - (Abuse of Officials Game Misconduct) (Rule 41), 10 min, 6:07
Tulsa - Curtis Voth - (Third Major in Game Game Misconduct), 10 min, 6:07
Tulsa - Curtis Voth - (Abuse of Officials Game Misconduct) (Rule 41), 10 min, 6:07
How much more is left to this documentary? Whatever it is, PLEASE upload it onto youtube -- It would mean a lot.

Really excellent fight clips in the second part. It was almost like something out of Pride FC.

Thanks again. And post more please.

One of my favorites when he played for the River Otters in 01'-02'. He's quite the character and a great guy, with lots of good stories. They had a giveaway poster that year that was huge titled "Fight Club", it featured Voth, Darin Kimble, Marty Melnychuk and Kelvin Solari in a boxing ring, they had all four signing them after the game. Still have one framed hanging at home.

Thanks for all the info Hump.

There is only one more part and it is not as good or long but I will post it for sure. Voth and Holliday were the main stories and the rest of the footage is Marc Laforge and a very little footage on Brandon Christian. It should be up tomorrow.

Yeah, I remember the night they signed it. Voth was a team player for sure that stuck up for his teamates.

You guys had to love the best fan ever at 1:35 of the first part. "If we wanted to watch finesse hockey we would stay home and watch the NHL".

All of those Tough Guys documentaries were great, Pesa. Thanks. I couldn't believe, though, how scared Christian was to fight Melnychuk. He made himself out to look like a slang word for "cat."

That may have been the best part. Melnychuk was classic

Christian: "I'll fight you in the third period"

Melnychuk: "FXck you. Three fXckin times. Three ****in times."

Rugged 02-09-2008 02:14 AM

Christian totally gashed out and got cut that night because of it. Hopefully, he learned his lesson.

Thanks pesa. Good stuff.

Thanks pesa! Do you have the whole documentary as downloadable version? As a fan of documentaries and hockey fights, I'm very excited when those two are combined.
Are there any other documentaries about hockey or hockey fights out there?

I got these two:
The Chiefs (on DVD)
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0410214/
Boys on the bus (on VHS, very old and in poor shape :()
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0303793/
