Can't help but notice the swipe by Hospodar just before that hit came in. Nasty hit nonetheless.

I had forgotten this...couldn't have happened to more of a rat than Hospodar, always had his stick flailing around cheap shoting people...

Suspension? LOL. This was 1985. Peter Stastny got a 5 minute major for cross checking. That was it. This was when men actually played the game.
