Nurnberg had an team with a lot of players from eastern europe (czechs, russian players etc ) while Frankfurt was known for their tough teams ( they always had a few tough guys from canada).

There were several brawls, fights, spearing action etc

Nurnberg then got their lesson and signed John Craighead for the next years

Love being at those kind of games, emotions are so high and almost every whistle draws a crowd!

You may be a ble to help me here: I've been trying to find out about an incedent from 1998/99 season involving Mike Ware.

Ware had played a couple of season for my team Cardiff Devils in the UK and then moved to Hanover to play a season - There he was involved in a crazy incident, during which he went down and locked himself in the locker room until the police came and arrested him. I think it happened during the warm ups, and he was attacking players because of an icident that happened to him or a teammate in a game before. Any ideay, and any idea if any video would exist?
