Clip Viewing Help
Quick tip: If you're using IE, just right-click and choose "Save Target As"
Ok, due to the fact that people were having problems downloading attachments, I've made some tweaks to the way attachments are served. IE = Internet Explorer FF = Firefox I tested in IE and FF on my side and both worked. IE was fine by clicking on it directly (although I still recommend you right-click and save) or right-clicking. FF worked fine now by clicking on it directly (left-clicking) - you should get prompted to save or open. Either one should download it first, then you can watch it. I recommend saving it first though, and choosing your own location. The new version of FF still doesn't like right-clicking much though. I also checked Opera out, and it downloaded fine by clicking directly. What I'd like is some help from people here with different systems. Please test out an attachment. If you need help finding some, there's a bunch listed on the main videos page. Please let me know your results and what sort of system you're on. List this: Browser and version Example: IE 6, FF 1.5, Safari 1.3 Operating System Example: Win XP Pro SP 2, Win 98, OS X 10.4.6, Linux (whatever flavor you're using, I'll assume if you're a Linux user, you know) Then whatever behavior you tried and what the results are. Hopefully everything works well already, and if not, we can tweak anything we need to in order to make the experience as smooth as possible. Thank you. |

Works fine for me.
I'm using: Firefox/1.5.0.2
Right click & save works fine for me through both the website & forums site. I was having problems voting with the last version of FF. I switched to IE & everything was fine. Since I've updated my FF, I'm having no problems. Thanks for your work. I love the site. |
