Good clip, but how would they get an outdoor rink in Vegas? A little too warm there for that.

at about both the 0:28 and 0:54 sec marks , you can make out the

greek style lettering of the "Caesar's Palace" name inside the penalty box

I saw that, but I still can't believe the game was played outdoors. Not only would it have been mentioned at the Outdoor Classics, but also, there is no way they can make NHL calibre ice outdoors in Las Vegas in September(Preseason). I was just there in November and it was over 25 deg. C (or around 80 deg. F for you Americans). I know there is a minor league team in Vegas, so I would imagine this game would be played at their rink.

You can obviously tell that it was played outdoors just by the shadows created by the players and referees.

Sorry man...I just looked it up, and sure enough, in Sept.1991 there was an outdoor game played in Las Vegas. The temperature was 30 deg. C(85 F) outside, and I guess the flys were crazy.

This game is never mentioned, which I find kind of funny, since the outdoor games are such a big deal now. And at 30C the ice must have been brutal....anyway, thanks for the clip. It was an interesting fact to find out.
