It is very interesting that he seems to respect Dave Brown just as much as Bob Probert despite fighting Probie four times. I see a lot of guys think that way. I happen to agree with them. He is a guy who obviously paid attention to his job and knew who was who. Very refreshing to see a guy like that.

Premium interview VF. Thanks to all involved especially Troy for his time. Gotta love that gun fight analogy!

That was a really good interview. I didn't really know much about Crowder, so I'm glad I got to read more about his career and see more of his fights. Thanks a lot guys.

Troy Crowder

Vodkafish thanks for the Troy Crowder posts! I remember when he came on the scene and was hurtly alot of guys. Even the Kimble fight he got stunned but I didn't see it as him being overly beat. However, after leaving New Jersey he wass never the same. It was like he was lacking confidence or something. He had a few things going for him - a big man who also had a pretty solid chin. Thanks for the interview as well! I have been waiting for these clips for a long time! Thanks for the memories!

I was at a Devils/NorthStars game during his great year and we sat right behind the penalty box and watching him skate around in warmups was something! He was a big boy! I think he was #25 then!

That was by far the best interview I've read on this site. Not to diminish the others, it's just that this one was the best. I give credit to Crowder for providing detailed and candid answers.

Another top-notch interview... IMO they just keep getting better. Please offer a belated thanks to Mr. Crowder for being gracious enough to do this for the good folks of HF! Excellent work boss!
