Q & A: Tim Hunter
by Martin DesRosiers (Odjick29)

Tons of thanks once again to Tim for taking the time; and thanks from me to Merlin401, who helped get this live.

VodkaFish,
Thank you very much. That was super and I always admired Tim as a warrior who never quit and gave everything!
Did Tim indicate other than Brown who he thinks are the best fighters he played against like Probert, Kocur, McSorley, Fotiu, Gillies etc. and what did he think of Fotiu as a teammate?
Great job again!
Thanks
Big Jack

I remember in this game there was a scrum
behind the net, domi and hunter came togather and tie was giving him the face wash and hunter bit domi s finger
u dont see that to often in hockey where one player bites another

Great work Martin. Good read.

It's a little off topic... but I'm wondering where that tough guy Peca was when all the fighting started?

When Peca hit Selanne he broke his own jaw,so he was long gone.

Regarding Peca(what a name) when he was hit by Tucker I didn't feel sorry for him because he got a taste of his own medicine. Borderline cheapshot to cheapshot hits so live by the sword, die by the sword!

Great interview....thanks for posting it along with the clips. Winnipeg had a pretty tough team with Domi and Manson on it.

Did someone say Peca broke his own jaw with that hit? Anyway, I don't think it was a cheap shot, Selanne was the last to touch the puck and was floating with his head down in the neutral zone. But anytime you touch the other team's star, watch out!
