Finnaly got around to reading it.
I really liked the part about him thinking the his scrap with Neil 2 seasons back was not cheap by Neil. He had good things to say and now the Neil bashers cant say it was unfair. Thanks again very good stuff here thanks to both of you. Chris |

A question about Cairns.
I know a lot of people like Eric Cairns, and I personally don't dislike him. However, one thing he said in the recent interview he did with VF kind of puzzles me.
When asked about the Mel Angelstad fight, Cairns had this to say, "...Then his jersey came off and there was nothing really to grab on to and then I just did a faceslam on to the ice because I couldn't grab on to anything..." Am I the only one who sees this as him sort of admitting that he bailed on his fight with Angelstad? Now before the Cairniacs go all apesh*t on me, I realize that the interview showed that Cairns is a decent guy who knows his role on a team. However, what are you opinions on his description of this fight? Does it change your opinion on him? He did say earlier that he doesn't turtle in his fights, but he seems to counter-act that in his response that I quoted above. Lets try to keep this civil, strictly about the topic at hand, and with the least amount of BS as possible.
