Not sure how Tedstone is 'tarnishing' the role, from everything in the interview, it seems like he plays it to a T. Maybe I'm just a dumbass you should feel sorry for, but Tedstone has my respect. *EDIT* Quote:

Until you lace up the skates, drop the gloves and stick your chin out, no one should have the right to come into a person's interview thread and bash someone based on trivial bull****.
Now If you didn't read the interview (which wouldn't surprise me), Teddy is now under 300 pounds and will soon be even less. Have you guys ever thought that maybe the reason his balance was bad in that one fight had something to do with him being almost 400 pounds on skates? Honestly, you guys should just keep your ****ing mouths shut and go post bull**** about today's undedicated NHL fighters who play like they think they were signed for their hockey talent... Simply put, Brendan knows his role as a hockey player and doesn't give a **** about your childish insults, which is why he hasn't responded. |

I think players like Wade Belak and Donald Brashear tarnish the role far more than players like Brendan. At least Brendan knows his role, enjoys it, and does it out of the love of the game and not money. Thats called passion and dedication. Respecting someone who much would rather play defense, all the while neglecting his role thus allowing his teammates to be pushed around or injured, is bull**** to me. Tedstone embarrasses the Enforcer Role. Wow, thats the stupidest thing i've ever heard. |

Theres no reason to hate a guy just becuase he's obese. He is one of the first of his kind and he played his heart out. It doesn't matter if he's a good player or not, he knows his role and he plays it well. The interview was very informative and by far the longest one yet (in terms of long, detailed answers.) He gave quality answers for us.
And HS, Hump has done great interviews with these guys and I find no reason to bash him.
