I hope Sugden gets his stuff together. It sounds like he's REALLY emulating his first hero, "Missing" Link Gaetz. It's sad, but sometimes these guys thrown into hardass roles can't turn it off after work. Being a hockey enforcer is one of the most difficult jobs in sports ... bar none. Patrick Roy ****s up on a goal ... he has 59:59 of work to make that mistake up. Brett Hull missed thousands of open nets through bad aim but nailed 750 home so nobody remembered. Guys like Brandon Sugden can't lose even five fights. Every event has HUGE import for his financial future and the team prospects each night. Tough tough job. I went to the Syracuse/Hershey game Saturday night hoping to see Sugden in action. Hershey has John Erskine right now and I thought maybe Sugden would try and get him to go. No luck though. Sugden didn't get much ice time and was pretty much invisible when he was on the ice. Erskine doesn't go looking for fights. He needs to work on his playing game if he's going to get a shot in the NHL so the fights need to find him. Hershey has Robittaie to do the bulk of their fighting. But Erskine is definately much bigger and the much better fighter.

Exellent Interview
It is always interesting to see how these gentlemen got their start in Hockey and what a struggle it is for them to get to the top level.
