Great read, much appreciated. He seems to be quite a fun guy. Great to hear a fighter that really likes his job, even though beeing around a couple of years. Really hopes he get's a shoot in the NHL.

I thought that was neat, too. Great job, VF.

Does it get cold living in your parent's basement, or do you stay warm when your mommy brings you some soup in between your jerkoff sessions whacking off to the lastest Mcgratton/ Janssen fight? These "hacks your following need to put the friggin puck in the net, or assist on a goal once in a while, instead of hurting their teams on a nightly basis because they have no discipline.

How many Enforcers are in the top 10 in PIMS right now? Go get ****ed, you loser!

Doesn't the Tampa Bay Lightning have a message board, because you'd probably be more suited to discussing thread topics like "Which Euro has the coolest visor"....

Then why the f#ck would you come on a site like this? Enforcers still do, and always will, have a role on a hockey team. Your team won the Cup with Roy and Dingman, and haven't done sh!t since they got rid of them.

Great interview, David. Brandon, if you're reading this, keep on slugging man, you'll make it one day. I agree with the previous guys, you're in the wrong era. It's also nice to read of you overcoming your demons, that's something alot of people aren't strong enough to do. Proves you're a fighter both on and off the ice.

Alright, let's not turn this into a flame-fest. thunderfists isn't a Sugden fan, many here are, I think we get that. Let's leave it there, quit the personal insults and move on. Thank you.

From the interview it does sound like Sugden is a bit of a loose cannon. But he's not the first or last enforcer to come across a little twisted. I thought the interview was candid. The guy's had some problems but give him some credit for overcoming. As far as fighting goes, watching recent clips of him for the first time I cant think of anyone but Orr, Boogaard, Cairns who would have a bigger right hand.the guys he was fighting with the exeption of Mcgrattan and Erskine(enbelievable fights) were just holding on. Guy deserves a chance.

Amazing interview Dave. I was wondering when you were gonna post this. Anyway, I love Brandon's candidness and how all of his answers were "no nonsense." Much respect brother, you had me laughing at some of those answers.

Its nice to read an interview where the player goes "no nonsense" and doesnt duck any questions. I have enjoyed watching Sugden for years now and hope to watch him play in the NHL in the future.

they said "there'll be enough fighting for you in the pre-season games" and I only had one. I tried to fight Andre Roy and I grabbed him in Pittsburgh and he turtled. That pissed me off.
I was at that game and I was pissed off too. I was hoping to see Brandon in action but Roy wanted no part of him. I hope he gets a shot at playing in the show soon. Great article VF.

Then there was the game with the Flyers in 1972, where he was taunted by the team's trainer. Durbano responded as only he could. He took his stick and speared the trainer in the mouth.
